MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL INSPECTED AND REPLACED BROKEN TRANSDUCER PINS ON THE NR 1 WHEEL ASSY AS REQUIRED. OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL IAW MM 32-43-02, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING A ROUTINE OVERNIGHT SERVICE CHECK INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL REPORTED A PORTION OF THE EMERGENCY EVACUATION LIGHTING SYSTEM WOULD NOT TEST. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REMOVED AND REPLACED THE APPROPRIATE POWER SUPPLY BATTERY PACK. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED PER AMM 33-50-00. THE AIRCRAFT HAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

PASSENGER SERVICE PANEL AND OVERHEAD STOWAGE BIN IMMEDIATELY ABOVE FELT WARM. PHASE OF FLIGHT ASSUMED TO BE CRUISE ALTHOUGH NOT SPECIFIED BY FLIGHT CREW. THE FLIGHT CREW ALSO DOES NOT SPECIFY ANY PRECAUTIONARY ACTIONS AS A RESULT OF THE REPORTED ODOR. THE AIRPLANE LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER REPORTED INCIDENT. WICHITA CONTRACT MAINTENANCE REPORT LOCATING THE SOURCE OF THE ODOR, PULLING CIRCUIT BREAKER SB7 AND DEFERRING THE LEFT LOWER SIDEWALL LIGHTS PER MEL 33-02 UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF MAINTENANCE CONTROL. FURTHER, THEY REPORT THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF AN EMERGENCY LIGHT POWER SUPPLY BATTERY PACK. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED PER AMM 33-53-00. THE AIRPLANE HAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT 474 LAS/FSD - APPROXIMATELY 40 MINUTES AFTER TAKEOFF, THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE NR 2 VHF NAV HAD BECOME INOPERATIVE. DISPATCH AND MAINTENANCE CONTROL ASSURED THE CREW THAT THE WEATHER AT FSD WAS ADEQUATE TO CONTINUE THE FLIGHT. HOWEVER, THE CREW OPTED TO RETURN TO LAS VEGAS WHERE THE AIRPLANE LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. LAS VEGAS MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED A LOOSE J2 ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AT THE VHF NAV CONTROL PANEL. A SATISFACTORY RETURN-TO-SERVICE CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED PER AMM 22-01-05. THE AIRPLANE HAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING A ROUTINE OVERNIGHT SERVICE CHECK LAS VEGAS MAINTENANCE REPORTED THAT THE TAIL CONE AREA EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD NOT TEST. THEY FURTHER REPORT THE REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERY PACK AT POWER SUPPLY B5-28. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED PER AMM 33-53-00. THE AIRPLANE HAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
IFP - MAINTENANCE FOUND THE OVERHEAD EMERGENCY LIGHT IN ROW 8 INOPERATIVE. REPLACED BULBS IN OVERHEAD EMERGENCY LIGHT ROW 8 IAW MM 33-50-00. OPERATIONALLY CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ELP - SJT - CREW REPORTED THE LEFT ENGINE HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILED IN FLIGHT. AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO LAS AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LEFT ENGINE HYDRAULIC PUMP IAW MM 29-10-05. OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECK GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
