TAILPOST DISCOVERED TO BE CRACKED AROUND THE CIRCUMFERENCE JUST ABOVE THE TAILSPRING PAD. SUBMITTER SUGGESTS CAUSE FOR CRACK DUE TO GROUND HANDLING OVER THE YEARS AND HIGH TIME ON THE AIRFRAME. THIS POINT IS STRESSED WHEN SWIVELLING THE TAILWHEEL DURING GROUND HANDLING.
