DURING DAILY SERVICE CHECK MAIN ROTOR RETENTION BEARING SEPARATION WAS NOTED. UPON DISASSEMBLY OF SPINDLE IT WAS NOTED THAT CONTACT HAD BEEN MADE WITH MAIN ROTOR HUB AND SPINDLE NUT
ON APPROACH TO LANDING AFT BAG SMOKE ILLUMINATED. PILOTS & PAXS SMELLED FUMES IN CABIN. LANDED, SHUTDOWN, OPENED BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT & SMELLED A STRONG BURNING ODOR.
DURING MORNING TEST FLIGHT, LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED. NOSE GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO EXTEND THE GEAR THE SYS WAS "BLOWN DOWN". BLOW DOWN FAILED AND THE NR 2 HYD SYS FAILED. ABLE TO PULL NOSE GEAR INTO POSITION. THREE GREEN GEAR LIGHTS, GEAR WAS PINNED AND ACFT LANDED, NORMAL SHUTDOWN PROCEDURES. MX FOUND NOSE WHEEL TO BE 180 DEGREES ROTATED. STRAIGHTENED WHEEL AND RESERVICED STRUT. FUNCTION CHECKED GOOD.
AFTER RUNUP COMPLETE AND HESS TEST FLIGHT, ADVANCED THROTTLES TO FLY POSITION AND COLLECTIVE ROSE. PUT COLLECTIVE BACK DOWN AND ACFT TURNED RIGHT. SHUTDOWN ACFT. REMOVED COLLECTIVE ACTUATOR WITH NEW SERVICEABLE ACTUATOR.
DURING COURSE OF FLUORESCENT PENETRANT INSP, A CRACK WAS NOTED BEYOND REPAIRABLE LIMITS.
