"ALT GEAR IND FAIL" ANNUNCIATOR CAME ON IN FLIGHT. RIGHT MAIN ALT LIGHT WAS INOP.
#1 ENGINE INTAKE BYPASS DOOR OPEN LIGHT INTERMITTENT IN FLIGHT. OPEN LIGHT ILLUMINATES WHEN ADVISORY LIGHT TEST SWITCH MOVED TO ADVISORY
MAINTENANCE WAS TAXING AIRCRAFT BACK FROM ENGINE RUNS. WHEN THEY PARKED AT HANGER THE #1 BRAKE CAUGHT ON FIRE. FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED BY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS. BRAKE WAS SENT TO OVERHAUL VENDOR TO DETERMINE WHAT THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS. OVERHAUL FACILITY FOUND THE AFT BLEEDER VALVE HAD ERROSION/CORROSION IN THE SEAT AREA THAT ALLOWED BRAKE FLUID TO ESCAPE UPON APPLICATION OF PARKING BRAKE.

PILOTS REPORTED PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN OF NR 1 ENGINE AFTER ERRATIC FUEL FLOW AND TORQUE INDICATIONS ON DESCENT, NO CAUTION LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. MX REPLACED NR 1 ENGINE PCU, O/S GOVERNOR AND PROPELLER HIGH PRESSURE PUMP FOR FERRY FLIGHT TO MX BASE. FDR DATA DOWNLOADED AND FORWARDED TO ENGINE AND PROPELLER MANUFACTURERS FOR ANALYSIS OF OVER TORQUE EVENT AND DETERMINED TO BE THE RESULT OF A FUEL FLOW ISSUE. ALL INSPECTIONS OF ENGINE AND PROPELLER PER MANUFACTURER COMPLETED WITH NO FAULT FOUND, REPLACED NR 1 ENGINE HMU, TSCU AND ECU, ALL OPERATIONAL CHECKS SATISFACTORY. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. THE REMOVED HMU, TSCU AND ECU SENT OUT FOR EVALUATION, AWAITING RESULTS.
PILOT SQUAWKED STRONG ELECTRICAL HOT SMELL IN CABIN. MAINTENANCE FOUND CABIN RECALCULATING FAN WAS BINDING AND EXHIBITED STRONG ELECTRICAL SMELL AND REPLACED THE FAN WITH REPAIRED UNIT IAW DASH 8 MM 21-25-12. OPERATIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY.
