PAX DOOR REQUIRES ADJ/TEST. C/W ADJUSTMENT AND OPS CHECK TO THE PAX DOOR AFT COUNTER BALANCE SYSTEM IAW MM 52-11-17-820-802 AND 57-11-17-710-802. THE PAX DOOR CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. MAINTENANCE WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE DISCREPANCY. AS PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE, MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED BOTH CARGO SMOKE DETECTORS. OPS CEHCKS GOOD. THE MESSAGE LASTED APPROXIMATELY THREE TO FIVE SECONDS AND THEN EXTINGUISHED. THE CREW DID NOT ACTIVATE THE FIRE BOTTLES AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY IN ATL. MAINTENANCE SWAPPED AROUND THE NR 1 AND NR 2 DATA CONCENTRATOR UNITS. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT OK FOR SERVICE. (M)
