Maintenance disclosures
ON APPROACH, DURING DESCENT THE PILOT OPERATED THE LANDING GEAR DOWN & THE RT MLG LOCK LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE WITH NO OTHER WARNING INDICATIONS. CHECKLIST PROCEDURES WERE FOLLOWED & THE PILOT RETURNED TO BLOCK. ACFT WAS FLOWN WITH THE GEAR DOWN & ON ARRIVAL, THE TOWER WAS ASKED IF THE GEAR LOOKED DOWN & LOCKED AS WELL, THEY AFFIRMED THIS & THE ACFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
RT ENGINE THRUST REVERSER ARM AND HYD PRESS ANNUNCIATOR CAME ON IN FLIGHT DURING CLIMB. INSPECTION FOUND SWITCH TO BE ON THE EDGE OF ADJUSTMENT FOR ACTIVATION.
CREW WROTE UP THE LT ENGINE FOR ACCELERATING MUCH SLOWER THAN THE RT ENGINE. TROUBLESHOT TO THE HMU. REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT. RAN ACFT AND COMPLETED A MAINT CHECK FLIGHT. ALL CHECKED OK. TWO FLIGHTS LATER, CREW WROTE UP LT ENGINE NOT MAKING POWER AT ALTITUDE. .5 THROTTLE KNOB SPLIT AT FL 350- LT ENGINE SLOW TO ACCELERATE. REPLACED THE HMU WITH A SERVICABLE ASSY, RAN AND COMPLETED CHECK FLIGHT. ALL CHECKS OK.
UPON LEVELING OFF AT FL 390, CREW NOTED THAT THE EMER PRESS ANNUNCIATOR CAME ON FOR 2 SEC, THEN EXTINGUISHED. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND BOTH ENDS OF THE RAM AIR DUCT DISCONNECTED FROM THE ELBOW IN THE TAIL CONE. A CHECK FLIGHT WAS COMPLETED SATISFACTORILY.
