EMERGENCY DECLARED AND DIVERTED TO ALTERNATE AIRPORT. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NOSE GEAR DOWNLOCK SWITCH. GEAR SWINGS PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. A SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
