DURING CRUISE RT ENGINE PROPELLER FEATHERING WITHOUT NOTICE. ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND LANDING WITHOUT PROBLEMS. DURING INVESTIGATION, FOUND PROPELLER GOVERNOR SPLINE SHAFT BROKEN IN TWO PIECES. REPLACED GOVERNOR, RUN UP SATISFACTORY. POSSIBLE GOVERNOR INTERNAL DAMAGE.
