THE CREW REDUCED THE RT ENGINE TO IDLE THROUGH DESCENT. THE QRH WAS COMPLIED WITH AND AN EMERGENCY DECLARED. THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED, LANDING SAFELY. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RT LUB AND SCAVENGER PUMP. THE (S) B-SUMP REGULATOR WAS ALSO REMOVED AND REPLACED FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE. OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD. FIRE AND RESCUE VEHICLES WERE REQUESTED TO BE ON STAND BY AS A PRECAUTION. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE LT LOWER OB THRUST REVERSER OUT OF RIG AND RERIGGED IT. MAINTENANCE ALSO REMOVED AND REPLACED THE IB FLEXIBLE CABLE, LT ENGINE BLOCKER DOOR IN THE TWELVE AND 3 OâCLOCK POSITIONS, AND THE LT ENGINE THRUST REVERSER STOW SWITCH CONNECTOR BRACKET FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE. OPERATIONAL CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT OK FOR SERVICE.
DURING DESCENT INTO DFW FROM LBB, AT APPROXIMATELY 27,000 FEET A LEFT ENGINE REVERSER UNLOCK MESSAGE WAS RECEIVED. THE QRH WAS COMPLIED WITH AND AN EMERGENYC WAS DECLARED. NO UNUSUAL DESCENTS OR APPROACH SPEEDS WERE NECESSARY. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY IN DFW. AFTER ENGIEN INSPECTION BY FIRE SERVICE PERSONNEL, THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED SAFELY TO THE GATE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED A RELAY INSIDE JUNCTION BOX THREE AND THE POWER DRIVE UNIT. OPS CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT OK FOR SERVICE. (M)
