DURING TAKEOFF, THE NR 1 ENGINE FIRE DETECTOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE WARNING PANEL. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE HELIPAD WITHOUT INCIDENT. DURING THE INSPECTION OF THE SYSTEM IT WAS FOUND THAT THE FIRE DETECTOR CONTACTORS WERE WET FROM A PREVIOUS RAIN STORM. THE CONTACTORS WERE CLEANED AND THE SYSTEM WAS OPERATING WITHIN LIMITS.
EEC CAUSED ENGINE TO DROP FROM FULL POWER TO IDLE IN CRUISE FLIGHT WITH AN ENGINE FAILURE AND ENGINE MANUAL HORN AND LIGHT. (K)
DURING 100 HUR INSPECTION, FOUND A RETAINING RING MISSING. THE RING SECURES A BELLCRANK TO THE CYCLIC SHAFT ASSEMBLY. THIS ALLOWED THE BELLCRANK TO SHIFT UP AND DOWN ON THE SHAFT APPROX 0.5 INCH. WHEN THE BELLCRANK SHIFTS UP IT CONTACTS BRACKET PN L671M 1005240 WHICH PREVENTS THE BELLCRANK FROM COMMING OFF OF THE SHAFT.
BRUSH WIRE CONTACTED HOUSING AFTER A BRUSH INSPECTION. EXTREME CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN DURING RE-ASSEMBLY AFTER INSPECTION. (X)
