DURING SCHEDULED INSPECTION IT WAS NOTED THE LEFT ENGINE EXHAUST TRANSITION PIPE WAS CRACKED IN THE CENTER. THE TRANSITION PIPE WAS REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING SCHEDULED INSPECTION IT WAS NOTED THE LEFT ENGINE #1 CYLINDER HAD AN OIL FOULED PLUG AND EXCESSIVE OIL IN THE CYLINDER. THE #1 CYLINDER WAS REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED WHILE RUNNING CABIN HEATER THE HEATER WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED, AFTER SWITCHING TO FAN A DISTINCT ODOR WAS SMELLED AND A PASSENGER REPORTED SMOKE IN THE CABIN. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND MADE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE HEATER CYCLE SWITCH, RAN THE HEATER FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME WITH NO OTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED ROUGH ENGINE AND SMOKE COMING FROM THE EXHAUST. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND CYLINDER #3 EXHAUST ROCKER ARM PIN RETAINING COVER HAD FALLEN OFF AND PIN HAD MIGRATED OUT, CAUSING ROCKER ARM TO BECOME DISLODGED AND PUSH ROD TO CONTACT ROCKER COVER. METAL CONTAMINATION WAS FOUND IN THE WASTEGATE SOLENOID SCREEN. THE ENGINE IS BEING REPLACED DUE TO METAL CONTAMINATION.
THE PILOT REPORTED A BURNING SMELL IN THE CABIN DURING FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE COMBUSTION BLOWER BRUSHES WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.

CREW NOTICED SLIGHT BINDING IN AILERON'S WHEN MOVING F/O'S CONTROL YOKE. INVESTIGATION FOUND THE CAUSE TO BE THE AILERON CONTROL AFT RIGHT QUADRANTS MOUNT BEARING. THE QUADRANT ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED. AFTER REMOVAL, A CLOSER INSPECTION OF THE QUADRANT FOUND THE BEARING TO BE BINDING AND CAUSING WEAR TO ITS MOUNT SHAFT. THE NEW QUADRANT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.

FURTHER INVESTIGATION FOUND PROBABLE CAUSE TO BE TWO BROKEN RETURN SPRINGS (P/N 228-50775-101), WHICH CAUSED DOOR NOT TO RETURN IN PROPER SEQUENCE. REMOVED BROKEN SPRINGS AND DOOR, REPLACED WITH SERV PARTS IAW CANADAIR MMC NR 78-33-11 AND 78-33-21.
