AFTER TAKEOFF, THE LEFT ENGINE QUIT WITH SLIGHT VIBRATION NOTED. THE FLIGHT CREW PERFORMED THE RED BORDER CHECK LIST, RETURNED TO DTW AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE LEFT ENGINE. OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL.
DURING M CHECK, FOUND OUTBOARD FLANGE OF THE RIGHT OUTBOARD SEAT TRACK FS 270 BROKEN. REPAIRED PER EA 99-169290.
LEFT ENGINE FIRE DETECTOR LOOP B-LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON SHORT FINAL. FLIGHT CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE CHECKED ENGINE DUCTS FOR LEAKS AND CHECKED AND CLEANED ENGINE FIRE LOOPS. NO PROBLEMS WERE FOUND, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING LINE MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, FOUND RIGHT EXTERIOR OVERWING EMERGENCY EVACUATION LIGHT INOPERATIVE. REPLACED BATTERY PACK, OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL.
DURING LINE MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, FOUND RIGHT OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT INOPERATIVE. REPLACED POWER SUPPLY. OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL.
RIGHT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM QUANTITY AND PRESSURE DROPPED TO ZERO EN ROUTE. CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND CONTINUED TO DESTINATION. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE FOUND FLEX LINE LEAKING AT ELECTRIC PUMP OUTLET. REPLACED LINE, OPERATIONAL CHECK OK.
DURING TAIL CONE FUNCTIONAL CHECK, FOUND THAT EXCESSIVE FORCE WAS REQUIRED TO DEPLOY TAIL CONE. ALSO, FOUND THAT TAIL CONE RELEASE HANDLE CABLE WAS NOT INSTALLED IN SWITCH PLUNGER. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE LATCH SPRINGS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED. REPLACED LATCH SPRINGS AND PROPERLY INSTALLED RELEASE HANDLE CABLE, FUNCTIONAL CHECK OK.

DURING LINE CHECK, FOUND EMERGENCY LIGHT BROKEN AT SEAT 20. MAINTENANCE REPLACED LIGHT ASSEMBLY, OPERATIONAL CHECK OK.
LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT AFTER TAKEOFF. GEAR DOOR OPEN LIGHT AND ALL UNSAFE LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. GEAR HANDLE WAS PLACED DOWN AND DOOR OPEN LIGHT REMAINED ON. CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND FLIGHT WAS RETURNED TO MEM. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED BROKEN RIVET AT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR BYPASS LEVER. ALSO, REPLACED FLAG ON LEVER. OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

DURING PERIODIC CHECK, FOUND EMERGENCY LIGHTS AT TAILCONE, OVERWING EXITS, AND LEFT AFT AIRSTAIR AREA INOPERATIVE. CHARGED BATTERIES FOR TEN HOURS, OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL.
DURING PERIODIC CHECK, FOUND PRESSURE PANEL IN NOSE WHEEL WELL CRACKED AT FS 106 UNDER OUTBOARD VERTICAL BEAM. INSTALLED REPAIR DOUBLER PER EA 99-112006.
DURING PERIODIC CHECK, FOUND PRESSURE PANEL IN NOSE WHEEL WELL CRACKED ABOVE FRAME AT FS 83 OUTBOARD EDGE. REPAIRED PER EA 99-112007.
DURING PERIODIC CHECK, FOUND FORWARD GALLEY SERVICE DOOR EVACUATION SLIDE BATTERY PACK INOPERATIVE. REPLACED SLIDE.
DURING H-CHECK, FOUND A 2.5 INCH CRACK IN THE FS 658L FRAME LOWER OUTBOARD LEG. REPAIRED FRAME (PSE 53.09.013) PER SRM 51-30, 53-03.
DURING H-CHECK, FOUND A 2 INCH CRACK IN THE FS 639R FRAME LOWER OUTBOARD LEG. REPAIRED FRAME (PSE 53.04.014) PER SRM 51-10, 51-30, 53-03.
DURING H-CHECK, FOUND CORROSION IN THE FUEL TANK TO FUSELAGE ATTACH FITTING BETWEEN FS 598 TO 617. REPLACED FITTING PER SRM 51-10, 51-30.
DURING LINE MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, FOUND RIGHT OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS INOPERATIVE. REPAIRED BROKEN GROUND WIRE AND OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL.
DURING LINE MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, FOUND RIGHT FORWARD OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS INOPERATIVE. REPLACED BATTERY PACK, OPERATIONAL CHECK NORMAL.
NR 1 ENGINE EPR INDICATION WAS BELOW TARGET ON TAKEOFF ROLL. THE TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE FUEL CONTROL UNIT WITH A SERVICEABLE COMPONENT. SUBSEQUENT RUNUP WAS SATISFACTORY.
DURING CLIMB, CREW WAS UNABLE TO RAISE THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE. UTILIZED GROUND SHIFT OVERRIDE TO RAISE THE HANDLE. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO MSP AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. DRAINED AND SERVICED NOSE STRUT. OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
DURING CLIMB, THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT PRESSURIZE. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO BNA AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND AFT CARGO DOOR OPEN, INSPECTED AND CLOSED DOOR. OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
LEFT AC GENERATOR TRIPPED OFF LINE DURING TAKEOFF ROLL AT APPROXIMATELY 80 KNOTS. AFTER CLEARING RUNWAY, GENERATOR WAS RESET AND REMAINED ON LINE. REPLACED THE LEFT GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL AND VOLTAGE REGULATOR. OPERATIONAL CHECK OK. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

DURING LINE CHECK, FOUND 2 CRACKS, 2.25 INCHES AND 3.50 INCHES LONG IN THE AFT CABIN DOOR FRAME UPPER RIGHT SIDE FS 817. REPAIRED PER EA 99-091494.
