FLIGHT CREW STARTED THE RIGHT ENGINE FIRST BECAUSE IT USUALLY STARTS COOLER. THE ITT PEAKED AT 780 DEGREES AND STABILIZED AT 630. THE GS GENERATOR GAUGE WAS SLOW TO RISE. THE PROBLEM OCCURRED NOTICEABLE AT V2, 90KTS, IT WAS AT 830 DEGEES ITT. TAKEOFF WAS CONTINUED AND AT CLIMB OUT THE ITT HAD RISEN TO 900 DEGREES. IT WOULD HAVE CONTINUED TO RISE IF PILOT HAD NOT REDUCED THE TORQUE. FLIGHT CREW CLIMBED TO 4000' AND THERE WAS A 200 DEGREE SPLIT BETWEEN LEFT AND RIGHT. REDUCED THE TORQUE TO 1500 LBS AND THE GAUGE READ 740 DEGREES. CREW DECIDED TO RETURN TO MYR.

REPAIR STATION REPORTED THE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WAS TESTED TO VERIFY THE COMPLAINT OF COMPRESSOR STALLING. DURING THE ENGINE RUN UP, OIL WAS OBSERVED IN THE BLEED VALVE AREA. THE AGB AND OIL FILTER HOUSING WAS REMOVED AND FOUND A MISSING PACKING ON THE OIL FILTER. THE AGB WAS INSTALLED AND THE ENGINE ASSY RETESTED. NO OIL WAS OBSERVED IN THE BLEED VALVE AREA. THE HP BLEED VALVE WAS FOUND TO BE CLOSING EARLY AND THE CONTROL ORIFICE WAS REPLACED. THE ENGINE ASSY THEN PASSED THE REQUIRED PARAMETERS. ALL WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED IAW MM. THIS ENGINE ASSY IS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. (K)

DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL THE FLIGHT CREW HEARD THE RT ENGINE POPPING WITH FLASHES OF LIGHT WITH A RAPID DECREASE IN TORQUE. THE TAKEOFF ROLL WAS ABORTED AND AC TAXIED CLEAR OF THE RUNWAY. A MECHANIC WAS DISPATCHED. ENGINE ASSY WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A SERVICEABLE UNIT IAW MM AND SD3-30MM. OPS AND LEAK CHECK GOOD HAS BEEN RETURNED BACK TO SERVICE. (K)

DURING THE COMPLIANCE OF AD, SB, FRO THE RT SIDE PROPELLER, THE (8) PROP ATTACH BOLTS, FAILED THE DESCRIBED TORQUE CHECK AS DESCRIBED IN AD (SB). THE PROPELLER WAS REMOVED IAW MM. AFTER THE PROP WAS REMOVED, THE INSPECTION FOUND FRETTING ON THE PROP FLANGE, HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE FLANGE. A SERVICEABLE PROP WAS INSTALLED IAW MM. AD AND SB HAS BEEN COMPLIED WITH ONTHE INSTALLED PROPELLER AND IS NEXT DUE AT 25868.2 TAT WITH NO DEFECTS FOUND. OPS CHECKED GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN RETURNED TO SERVICE. (K)

SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTURE FROM FWD, THE SMOKE FWD CWP LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FIRST OFFICER LOOKED FOR EVIDENCE OF FIRE, NONE WAS FOUND. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED WITH ATC AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. FLIGHT CREW DETERMINED THERE WAS AND HAD NEVER BEEN A FIRE. THE FAULTY FORWARD SMOKE DETECTOR WAS MEL''ED. THE FLIGHT WAS CONTINUED WITH NO ADDITIONAL DISCREPANCIES. (X)

PILOTS REPORTED SMOKE IN COCKPIT AND CLOSED PRSOV VALVE STOPPING THE SMOKE. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER, THE PILOTS NOTICED TORQUE AND OIL PRESSURE FLUCTUATING. FEATHERED AND SHUT DOWN ENGINE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENCE. ENGINE WAS LEAKING OIL FROM THE COMPRESSOR SEAL.
