PILOT REPORTED, ENROUTE AT APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET BELOW LEVEL OFF AT 11,000 FEET THE AUTOPILOT WAS DISCONNECTED AND FOUND INVERTER INOPERATIVE. SELECTED NR 2 INVERTER, DID NOT WORK. DECLARED AND EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER PROBLEMS. MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED POOR CONNECTION AND STUCK RELAY K006 AND K007 IN NOSE AVIONICS BAY IN JUNCTION BOX 01. CLEANED RELAY CONNECTIONS AND CYCLED RELAYS. FUNCTIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY.
DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, PILOT THOUGHT HE SAW MOMENTARY FLASHES OF LIGHT REFLECTING OFF OF LT PROP SPINNER. NO ACFT SYS WERE AFFECTED OR PERFORMANCE DETERIORATED IN ANY WAY. FLIGHT & LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. INSPECTED ACFT, NO DAMAGES OR ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY WERE DISCOVERED. OPENED PANELS AND FOUND DAMAGES TO AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM COMPONENTS IN LT NOSE AREA COMPARTMENT. ON FURTHER INSPECTION MECHANIC FOUND METAL PIECE THAT APPEARS TO BE FROM AIR CONDITIONING MOTOR FAN SHROUD AND IT WAS GETTING HIT BY THE AIR CON MOTOR FAN, BEING THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE OF THE PILOT OBSERVING FLASHES OF LIGHT.
WHILE TAXING, PILOT OBSERVED SPARKS EXITING OUT OF THE FRONT LT SIDE OF AIRCRAFT AT AIR CONDITIONING PANEL. SHUTOFF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYS, SPARKS STOPPED AND PILOT RETURNED TO HANGAR WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
