Part: COMPUTER — INTERMITTENT (E/E BAY)

AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED RIGHT ENGINE FIRE WARNING SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF. CREW FOLLOWED CHECKLIST, DECLARED AN IFE, AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AFTER HOURS OF TROUBLESHOOTING, MAINTENANCE DETERMINED THEY COULD TURN ON AND OFF THE RIGHT ENGINE FIRE LIGHT BY LIGHTLY TAPPING ON WARNING LIGHT COMPUTER. PART WAS REMOVED AND SHOWED NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE AND/OR MOISTURE. REPLACEMENT PART WAS INSTALLED ON AIRCRAFT THE SAME DAY, AND PROBLEM WAS FIXED.

Part: MOTOR — FAILED (BLOWER)

PILOTS NOTICED COCKPIT BLOWER SEEMED TO BE SHUT OFF. KNOB INDICATED IT WAS ON HIGH. SHUT OFF BLOWER AND IMMEDIATELY TURNED IT BACK ON. A FEW SECONDS LATER, A PUFF OF SMOKE CAME FROM COCKPIT . IMMEDIATELY TURNED OFF BLOWER AND DIVERTED TO DENVER. TECH VERIFIED BLOWER MOTOR WAS THE CAUSE. HE CUT OUT AND SCRAPPED BLOWER MOTOR WIRES, DEFERRED BLOWER MOTOR PER MEL. AIRCRAFT WAS FUELED AND BACK IN THE AIR IN APPROXIMATELY 15 HOURS.
