DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, CREW DISCOVERED THE ACFT SUFFERED AN AUDIBLE ENGINE STALL AND FAILURE. CREW ABORTED TAKEOFF AND RETURNED TO GATE WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. MX DISCOVERED METAL IN THE EXHAUST OF THE ENGINE, WITH LOTS OF METAL ON RUNWAY AS WELL. REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 3 ENGINE.

PERFORMED ENGINE RUN AND FUNCTIONAL TEST OF THE VALVE IAW AMM 36-11-20. OPS CHECKED GOOD.

ON DEPARTURE, "OIL TEMP HIGH" ANNUNCIATION WITH OIL TEMP ON THE NR 1 ENGINE AT 166 DEGREE C. REDUCED POWER ON NR 1 IAW THE QRH. IDLE POWER WAS REQUIRED TO KEEP THE TEMPERATURE FROM EXCEEDING LIMIT. MAXIMUM OIL TEMPERATURE ACHIEVED 168 DEGREE C. WITH IDLE POWER, OIL PRESSURE WAS JUST WITHIN LOWER LIMITS. OIL PRESSURE FOLLOWED THROTTLE MOVEMENT. NORMAL LANDING WAS MADE. MAX ALT. FL 250, WX NIGHT VMC NO FACTOR, TIME OIL TEMP IN CAUTION RANGE LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. NO EMERGENCY DECLARED. R & R AOC AND HEAT EXCHANGER, CHECKED TEMP SENSOR, MAG PLUGS AND FILTER. CLEANED LAST CHANCE OIL STRAINER, DRAINED/FILLED ALL OIL FROM OIL SYSTEM, INCLUDING MGB. VERIFIED THAT FAN DUCTS THAT LEAD COOLING AIR FROM FAN EXHAUST TO AOC ARE FREE OF OBSTRUCTIONS. BORESCOPE INSPECTION OF DE-OILER OUTLET BREATHER TUBE FOR BLOCKAGE AND EXAMINED NR 4 BEARING COMPARTMENT. OIL QTY TRANSMITTER REPLACED. HIGH POWER RUN CHECKED OUT NORMAL AND CONFIRMED ISSUE IS RESOLVED AND OK FOR SERVICE.

MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED DE-OILER DRIVE CARBON SEAL THAT WAS FOUND BROKEN PER PW EM 72-06-61. PERFORMED IDLE RUN GROUND TEST ON NR 3 ENGINE PER AMM 71-02-03. NO LEAKS NOTED AT THIS TIME. NR 3 ENGINE IS ON OIL CONSUMPTION WATCH CURRENTLY WITH A FLIGHT TO BOGATA WITHOUT INCIDENT.

ALSO PULLED THE LEFT HYD PUMP AND FOUND THE SPUR GEAR HOUSING WAS DAMAGED, REPLACED IT PER AMM 29-11-20. PERFORMED IDLE AND HIGH POWER RUN UP PER AMM71-02-02, NO LEAKS NOTED. ENGINE PLACED ON OIL WATCH.

FOUND OIL LEAK AT REAR HYDRAULIC PUMP DRIVE SEAL. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE DRIVE SEAL (P/N: 70R943) PER PW79-22-01 AMD AMM 80-12-01 AND PERFORMED HIGH POWER RUN UP. LEAK AND OP CHECK GOOD. NO LEAK NOTED. AIRCRAFT HAS CURRENTLY FLOWN 5 LEGS WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT.

DURING TAXI FOR DEPARTURE TO MIA, CREW NOTICED LOW TIRE PRESSURE INDICATION LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND SAW NOSE WHEEL DEPARTED ACFT AND WAS ROLLING OFF TAXIWAY. CREW RETURNED ACFT TO BLOCK WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. UPON INVESTIGATION BY MAINTENANCE, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE LT NOSE WHEEL ASSY HAD DEPARTED ACFT DUE TO THE SPACER NOT BEING INSTALLED DURING THE NOSE WHEEL ASSY REPLACEMENT (VIBRATION/SHIMMY) THE DAY BEFORE. THERE WAS ALSO DAMAGE TO THE LT NOSE AXLE. REPLACE THE NOSE LOWER STRUT AND AXLE AND INSTALL NOSE WHEEL AND TIRE ASSY IAW PROCEDURE IN THE MAINTENANCE MANUAL WITH NO DEVIATIONS.

AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

DUMPED FUEL TO GET DOWN TO MAX LANDING WEIGHT, LANDING MADE, NORMAL. RETURNED TO GATE. REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 1 FCC INAW 22-01-03. ACCOMPLISED RTS OF FCC NR 12 & NR 2 IAW AMM 22-00-00. ADJUSTED RT O/B FLAP POSITION XMITTER. NO FAULTS NOTED. PERFORMED GEAR SWING IAW 32-31-00 OP'S CHECK NORMAL, PERFORMED LANDING GEAR SYS TEST IAW 32-62-00 OP'S CHECK GOOD. A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE.
