FLIGHT 7687, ENROUTE OTH - PDX DISCREPANCY: AFTER TAKEOFF, THE PILOT DETECTED A STRONG BURNING SMELL IN THE COCKPIT. BLEED AIR VALVE WOULD NOT SHUTT OFF HOT AIR FLOW. THERMOSTAT CONTROL WOULD ALSO NOT CHANGE THE AIR FLOW. THE PILOT ELECTED TO RETURN TO OTH AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. CORRECTIVE ACTION: MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND PERFORMED MULTIPLE ENGINE RUNS. NO EVIDENCE OF FIRE OR ANYTHING THAT HAD BEEN BURNING. NO FAULTS WERE FOUND. OPS CHECK GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT 100 & AIR TURN BACK DISCREPANCY. CARGO POD A DOOR OPENED IN FLIGHT. NOSE COWL PLUG WENT OVERBOARD. CREW ELECTED TO RETURN. NO EMER WAS DECLARED & ACFT LANDED SAFELY. POD A FWD LATCH WAS ADJUSTED SO DOOR WILL SHUT TIGHTER. NO DAMAGE FOUND.
TAXI BACK - GEG FLT 8777. DURING TAXI THE PILOT DISCOVERED THE NP INOP, READS ZERO AT ALL PROP SPEEDS. REMOVED NP CONNECTOR, CLEANED, DRIED AND REINSTALLED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FUEL RESERVOIR LOW LEVEL LIGHT ILLUMINATED IN CRUISE. AIRCRAFT DECLARED EMERGENCY, RETURNED TO MTY, AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM IAW CESSNA FIELD SERVICE NOTE 95-21 DATED JUNE 22, 1995, AND FOUND FUEL RESERVOIR LOW LEVEL SENSOR HAD FAILED. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED SENSOR. SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKS GOOD. (X)
