ASH 6346 - PHX TO HMO - THE CREW REPORTED EMERGENCY LIGHTS SWITCH LIGHT INOP. MAINTENANCE REPLACED LIGHT BULBS IN SWITCHLIGHT AND OPS CHECK NORMAL.
THE CREW CALLED IN WITH THE PTT SWITCHES STICKING WHEN SELECTED ON TRANSMITT MODE AND A FAINT BURNING SMELL. CONTACT MAINTENANCE WAS CALLED AND RERACKED THE REMOTE ELECTRONICS UNIT AND THE CAPTAINS SIDE STARTED WORKING, SO THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO PHX FOR FURTHER REPAIRS. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE AUDIO REMOTE CONTROL UNIT.
FLOOR PROXIMITY EMERGENCY ESCAPE PATH MARKING SYSTEM HAS A LIGHT THAT IS OUT. MAINTENANCE RELAMPED THE LIGHT.

ON DESCENT AT 21,000 FEET PILOT REPORTED LITE SMOKE AND FUMES IN THE FLIGHT DECK AND CABIN. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOOTING. POSSIBLE ACM AND HEAT EXCHANGER REPLACEMENT. AIRCRAFT IS REQUESTED FOR TEST FLIGHT AFTERWARDS. 10/5/04 MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE DUAL HEAT EXCHANGER AND THE AIR CYCLE MACHINE. HEAT EXCHANGER P/N 778683-2, S/N REMOVED 9802020.
THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN PHX WITH NO HYDRAULICS IN THE NR 2 SYSTEM. MX MOVED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE HANGER AND FOUND THE AFT EQUIPMENT BAY COVERED IN HYD FLUID. IN THE PROCESS OF TROUBLESHOOTING THE PROBLEM. MX REPLACED THE NR 2 SPU PRESSURE MON CHECK VALVE AND REPLACED NR 2 HYD SYSTEM PIPE ASSY AT RT WING ROOT.

MAINTENANCE INSPECTION FOUND GALLEY LIGHT FIXTURE BURNT. ENGINEERING WAS CALLED FOR AN E/O TO PULL AND COLLAR GALLEY LIGHT C/B AT F/A STATION AND MEL THE GALLEY LIGHTS. A/C OVERNIGHTED IN JAX WHERE THE F/A CONTROL PANEL WAS REPLACED.
ON LANDING CREW REPORTED A STRONG BURNING SMELL IN THE COCKPIT. TRACED SMELL TO DUAL MODE S ATC CONTROL HEAD. REPLACED CONTROL HEAD.
