DURING SCHEDULED EMPENNAGE INSPECTION. , THE LT OTBD ELEVATOR HINGE ASSY WAS VISUALLY IDENTIFIED AS LOOSE. UPON INSPECTION, FOUND THE FOUR MS204070AD4 SOLID RIVETS ATTACHING THE HINGE ASSY TO THE UPPER & LOWER SKINS OF THE HORIZONTAL STABILIZER WERE WORKING THROUGH THE SKINS, & THREE AN3-10A BOLTS SECURING THE HINGE ASSEMBLY TO REAR SPAR OF HORIZONTAL STAB WERE ALSO FOUND LOOSE. THE TORQUE SEAL ON THE AN365-1032 FIBER LOCK NUTS FOR THESE THREE BOLTS WAS STILL INTACT WITH ORIGINAL PAINT FROM MANUFACTURER. AFTER REMOVAL OF THE HINGE ASSY, FOUND THE CORRESPONDING HOLES FOR THESE BOLTS HAVE BEEN ELONGATED. THE LAST INSPECTION PERFORMED OF THE EMPENNAGE IAW AMM 5-20 WAS PERFORMED AT TAT 2252.6 AND 2430 CYCLES.
PILOT REPORTED COMBUSTION HEATER FIRE CAS MESSAGE ON IN FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND SHORTED WIRE FWD ON INSTRUMENT PANEL FROM PIN K AT AML CONNECTOR. REPAIRED WIRE WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED LEFT ENGINE FIRE CAS MESSAGE IN FLIGHT, WITH NO VISIBLE FIRE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE FIRE DETECTOR IN THE LEFT ENGINE COMPARTMENT WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED COMBUSTION HEATER FIRE CAS MESSAGE CAME ON IN FLIGHT, THEN WENT OFF. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THE CABIN HEATER VENTILATING AIR FAN AT FAULT. HEATER VENTILATING AIR FAN WAS REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECT NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED LEFT ENGINE LOST FUEL PRESSURE WHEN CLIMBING THROUGH 7000 FEET. CREW NOTICED IT WAS WHEN THE LEFT FUEL PUMP WOULD CYCLE ON AUTOMATICALLY AND THE FUEL PRESSURE WENT INTO RED ARC ACCOMPANIED BY A 'LOW FUEL PRESSURE CAS MESSAGE'. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND DETERMINED THE MANIFOLD AIR TEMP SENSORS TO BE AT FAULT. BOTH MAT SENSORS WERE REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION SPOKE ON THE MAIN GEAR WHEEL ASSEMBLY WAS FOUND TO BE BROKEN. THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED WITH NO ADDITIONAL DEFECTS NOTED
FLIGHT 5178 - RECEIVED FLAPS FAIL CAUTION MESSAGE AT 18,000 FT. FLAPS FAILED AT 0 DEGREES. AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. COMPLIED WITH AD 2006-12-21 FLAP CAUTION MESSAGE -FIRST EVENT- MAINTENANCE ACTION, PARAGRAPH (G) 1, 2, 3, (A, B, C). FLAP SYSTEM WAS RESET WITH NO FURTHER FLAP CAUTION MESSAGES.

DURING APPROACH INTO CVG, A STRONG SMELL OF ELECTRICAL ODOR WAS NOTED IN THE COCKPIT AND CABIN ASSOCIATED WITH SMOKE. THE CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE LEFT AIR CONDITIONING UNIT FAILED CAUSING SLIGHT SMOKE AND FOUL ODOR. THE LEFT ACM WAS DEFERRED AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
