THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE PILOT'S "A" PANEL HEATING ELEMENT INOPERATIVE. THE WINDSHIELD HEAT SYSTEM WAS PLACED ON MEL FOR CONTINUED OPERATIONS. THE MAINTENANCE PROVIDER REPLACED THE PILOT "A" PANEL WITH NEW WINDSHIELD. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
