THE PILOT-IN-COMMAND'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL. THE ROUGH/UNEVEN GRAVEL BAR WAS A RELATED FACTOR.
