Probable cause

THE PILOT'S INADEQUATE FUEL PLANNING WHICH RESULTED IN THE EXHAUSTION OF THE FUEL SUPPLY AND THE LOSS OF ENGINE POWER. A FACTOR WAS THE PILOT'S FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH A MANUFACTURER'S SERVICE BULLETIN.
