Probable cause
THE PILOT'S INADEQUATE PREFLIGHT PLANNING, AND HIS FAILURE TO REFUEL THE AIRCRAFT, RESULTING IN FUEL EXHAUSTION AND ENGINE STOPPAGE. A FACTOR WERE THE TREES AT THE FORCED LANDING AREA.
