Probable cause
THE FAILURE OF THE #1 CONNECTING ROD ASSEMBLY IN THE ENGINE, RESULTING IN A FORCED LANDING. A FACTOR IN THE INCIDENT WAS THAT THE PILOT DID NOT SEE & AVOID POWER WIRES IN THE FORCED LANDING PATH.
