Part: WHEEL HALF — CRACKED (LANDING GEAR)
CRACK-LIKE INDICATION WAS LOCATED STARTING IN BEAD ARE GOING ACROSS FACE FOR 1-1/2 INCH LONG. LIQUID PENETRANT INSPECTION WAS THE METHOD SPECIFIED AND USED FOR THE NOT EXAMINATION.
Part: RUDDER PEDAL — BROKEN (COCKPIT) · airframe 16,800 hrs
UPON SETTING THE PARKING BRAKE THE PILOT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDALS AND THE LEFT RUDDER PEDAL BROKE AND FELL OFF THE PIVOT POINT. UPON REMOVAL AND INSPECTION OF THE RUDDER PEDALS, THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT ELONGATION OF THE PIVOT HOLE FOR THE THROUGH BOLT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE PEDAL AND THE METAL HAD BROKEN THROUGH ALLOWING THE PEDAL TO FALL OFF. THE PILOT'S RIGHT RUDDER PEDAL ALSO HAD SEVERE ELONGATION IN THE SAME AREA.

UPPER FORWARD HOLE FOR THE UPPER ANCHOR BOLT FOR THE FORWARD BRAKE CALIPER BROKE OUT JAMMING THE FORWARD CALIPER ON THE BRAKE DISK ROTATING WITH THE TIRE AND BREAKING THE AFTER CALIPER OFF THE TORQUE PLATE FROM THE LH MAIN GEAR. INCIDENT WAS DURING TAXI, WHEN THE PILOT APPLIED BRAKES THE ACFT VEERED RIGHT TO THE EDGE OF THE TAXIWAY WITH THE RH PROPELLER CONTACTING A SNOW BANK AND TAXIWAY LIGHT, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND FUSELAGE.

A CRACK LIKE INDICATION WAS INDICATED ON THE MAIN LANDING GEAR TORQUE KNEE ATTACHMENT HOLE. THE CRACK INDICATION IS ON THE LEFT ALUMINUM MAIN LANDING GEAR TORQUE KNEE. LOCATED ON THE INSIDE OF THE ATTACHMENT HOLE. CAN BE VISUALLY CONFIRM INDICATION. CRACK WAS FOUND WITH FLORESCENT LIQUID PENETRANT INSPECTION WAS DONE PER TASK 32-10-00 AS REQUESTED BY OTHERS.

A CRACK LIKE INDICATION WAS INDICATED ON THE MLG TORQUE KNEE ATTACHMENT HOLE. THE CRACK INDICATION IS ON THE LEFT ALUMINUM MLG TORQUE KNEE. LOCATED ON THE INSIDE OF THE ATTACHMENT HOLE. CAN BE VISUALLY CONFIRM INDICATION. CRACK WAS FOUND WITH FLORESCENT LIQUID PENETRANT. INSPECTION WAS DONE PER TASK 32-10-00 AS REQUESTED BY CLIENT.
Part: ENGINE — OVERHEATED
ENGINE OVERHEATED AT 6000 FT ON CLIMBOUT. FEATHERED PROP AND RETURNED TO DEPARTURE. WILL BE DOING A TEARDOWN REPORT. WE ARE SENDING THE FUEL CONTROL UNIT OUT FOR TESTING. UNTIL THAT TIME, WE ARE NOT DRAWING ANY CONCLUSIONS.
