DURING A ROUTINE CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ASSOCIATED LIGHTS DID NOT STAY ILLUMINATED AS LONG AS THE ADJACENT LIGHTS. AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN SITTING WITH NO POWER AND MAIN SHIP BATTERY DISCONNECTED FOR 3.5 DAYS. AT THE TIME OF THE TEST THE EMERGENCY BATTERIES HAD BEEN CHARGING FOR LESS THAN 1 HOUR. FOR COMPANY COVENIENCE, THE AMT ELECTED TO REPLACE THE BATTERY OTHER THAN WAITING FOR THE BATTERY TO CHARGE DUE TO A FLIGHT SCHEDULED IN 3 HOURS.

EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK M737 NOT HOLDING CHARGE.
DURING EMERGENCY LIGHT FUNCTIONAL CHECK. LIGHT ASSY L635 PARTIALLY ILLUMINATED. REPLACED FAULTY LAMPS AND OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS NORMAL. REFERENCE VT-SAAJOB NUMBER 7500025565
DURING ROUTINE A5 CHECK SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE WHEN REPLACING STARTER OIL. DRAIN PLUG FOUND WITH MISALIGNED THREADS. REPLACEMENT DRAIN PLUG ORDERED FOR REPLACEMENT. WHILE REMOVING DRAIN PLUG HELICOIL CAME OUT OF PLUG HOUSING ON STARTER. UNABLE TO REPAIR HELICAL. STARTER REPLACED WITH SUCCESSFUL FUNCTIONAL CHECK.
WHEN NR 1 IGNITION SYSTEM SELECTED. RIGHT ENGINE LIGHTOFF OCCURS MORE THAN 20SECONDS AFTER INITIAL FUEL APPLICATION. FLIGHT CREW OPERATING MANUAL STATES LESS THAN 20 SECONDS
RIGHT GPS POSITION NOT INDICATING ON POSITION REFERENCE PAGE OF FMC. LEFT GPS POSITION INTERMITTENTLY INDICATING POSITION. DURING TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND MULTI MODE RECEIVERS OPERATING NORMALLY DURING BITE PROCEDURE AS INDICATED IN BOEING FAULT ISOLATION MANUAL (FIM). UPON FURTHER EXAMINATION NOT NOTED IN AMM OR FIM FOUND RIGHT GPS ANTENNA OUT OF TOLERANCE WHEN OHM CHECKED. LEFT GPS ANTENNA WAS ALSO CHECKED FOR TOLERANCE AND FOUND DEGRADED WHEN OHM CHECKED. BOTH ANTENNAS WERE INSTALLED IN 2006 AND WERE NEW AT THE TIME WITH SEQUENTIAL SERIAL NUMBERS. BOTH ANTENNAS WERE REPLACED AND SYSTEM CHECKS OPERATIONAL WITH NO FAULTS AT THIS TIME.
EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHT ASSY AT R4 DOOR WILL NOT TEST. FOUND LOOSE CONNECTION ON LIGHT ASSEMBLY. TIGHTENED CONNECTION OPS CHECK NORMAL REFERENCE VT-SAA JOB 7500025562
DURING EMERGENCY LIGHT FUNCTIONAL CHECK L4/R4 INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHT ASSEMBLIES INOP. REMOVED AND REPLACED EMERGENCY LIGHT POWER SUPPLY AND BATTERY PACK AT M10919. OPS CHECK NORMAL.
DURING SCHEDULED A5 CHECK MAINTENANCE LEFT ENGINE INLET FOUND WITH DELAMINATED ACOUSTICAL LINER. LINER LIFTING AND NOT SMOOTH. POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR FOD DAMAGE/INGESTION IF CONTINUED IN SERVICE.
DURING SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE, PREFLIGHT INSPECTION AND PERFORMING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT FUNCTIONAL CHECK. OVERHEAD EXIT SIGN AT L2 DOOR AND EXTERNAL FUSELAGE MOUNTED DOOR SLIDE WERE FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. R & R M733 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK. OPS CHECKED NORMAL.
DURING PREFLIGHT INSPECTION F/O ALTIMETER "OFF" FLAG IN VIEW.
