WHILE IN FLIGHT , PILOT EXPERIENCE VIBRATION WITH LOSS OF TAIL ROTOR CONTROL AUTHORITY. AFTER LANDING ,INSPECTION REVEALED THE BLADE PITCH HORN HAD BROKEN INTO TWO PIECES, RENDERING ONE BLADE WITH NO PITCH CONTROL.
BEARING P/N 23034787 S/N MP78657 CHAFFED RACE P/N 6890483 S/N MP119218 CAUSING BOTH PARTS TO SCRAP.
THE LEFT MAIN TIRE WAS LOW, AS THE MECHANIC WAS GOING TO SERVICE THE TIRE, NOTED A CRACK PROPAGATING FROM A BOLT HOLE OUTWARD. (X)
LOST MOTION NOTICED IN TAIL ROTOR CONTROLS. FOUND HOLE ELONGATED FOR FITTING (PN 369A7511) ATTACHMENT TO TORQUE TUBE. REPLACED TORQUE TUBE.
