Maintenance disclosure history
Service Difficulty Reports are self-reported maintenance findings. The NUMBER of reports is not a measure of reliability — diligent operators file more, not fewer. These are shown for transparency, not as a negative signal. To verify a report, search its control number at the FAA SDRS site.
Reports span 1998–2002. Most-reported systems: Fuel (28) — 1; Lights (33) — 1. Most-common natures of condition, as filed: FLT CONT AFFECTED — 1; OTHER — 1.
2 reports on file.
Part: FUEL CELL — CONTAMINATED (MAIN)
PILOT REPORTS FILLING MAIN TANK THINKING IT IS FULL. AFTER A TIME GAUGES INDICATE LESS THAN FULL. INSPECTION OF INSIDE TANK THROUGH FILLER HOLE REVEALED DATA PLATE FROM FUEL PROBE COVERING THE FLANGE ASSY WHICH ALLOWS FUEL TO CROSSFEED TO OTHER TANK. REMOVED PLACARD, OPS NORMAL. RELAYED INFORMATION TO TECHNICIAN.
Part: LIGHT — FAILED (FUSELAGE)
THE RELAYS THAT CONTROL EXTENTION, RETRACTION, AND ROTATION (AIM) ARC, AND THE POINTS EITHER MELT (FUSE) TOGETHER OR IN SOME CASES, HAVE TOTALLY VAPORIZED. THE LIGHT CANNOT BE AIMED ONCE THIS OCCURS. THE EMS NIGHT SCENE FLIGHTS. WHEN THE LIGHT FAILS THE DANGER OF CONTACT WITH OBSTACLES INCREASES. IN 5 YEARS, THIS P/N LIGHT HAS FAILED 13 TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN UNABLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM.
