GEN 1 OFF BUS CAS MESSAGE. FOLLOWED QRH GEN 1 OFF BUS REMAINED. SHORTLY AFTER VIBRATION FELT INCREASING IN INTENSITY. FOLLOWED QRH AND ENG 1 WAS SHUTDOWN.
DURING A PREFLIGHT INSPECTION, FOUND THE PORTABLE HALON FIRE EXTINGUISHER LIGHT IN WEIGHT. WEIGHED THE EXTINGUISHER AND FOUND IT TO BE LESS THEN A POUND, SHOULD BE 3 + POUNDS. THIS WAS THE THIRD EXTINGUISHER THAT WAS FOUND WITH NO OR LITTLE CHARGE LEFT.
WHILE FLYING, CREW EXPERIENCED A CABIN PRESSURIZATION ISSUE. AT 120 MILES OUT FROM DEPARTURE, ATC GAVE INSTRUCTIONS TO DECEND FROM FL400 TO FL380 AT MACH .75 AND THE N1 SETTING WAS 99.3, CABIN DIFFERENTIAL WAS 6.9 AND CABIN ALTITUDE HAD RISEN TO JUST UNDER 10,000 FT. AS SOON AS THEY STARTED THE DECENT THE CABIN LOW PRESSURE ANNUNCIATOR AND MASTER WARNING ALERT ILLUMINATED. THE CREW PERFORMED THE EMERGENCY CHECKLIST FOR THE LOW PRESSURE WARNING. THE CREW THEN PUT ON OXYGEN MASKS, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND STARTED AN EMERGENCY DECENT. AT 12,000 FT THE LOW PRESSURE INDICATION EXTINGUISHED AND THE CABIN PRESSURE NORMALIZED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT.
PILOT DISCREPANCY, WARNING LIGHTS POWER NR 7 CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. FOUND LT HP FUEL COCK KNOB SHORTING TO LEVER ARM (HANDLE IS LIGHTED) KNOB WAS PROBABLY BROKEN BY TWISTING MOTION FROM PILOT WING STARTING OR SHUTTING DOWN ENGINE. NO RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PREVENTION OF REOCCURRENCE.
FLIGHT COMPUTER, NR 1 POSITION, FAILED.
AFTER TAKEOFF, THE LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT WITHOUT INCIDENT. UPON MAINTENANCE EXAMINATION, DETERMINED THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR 'SQUAT SWITCH' HAD MALFUNCTIONED AND ELECTRICALLY PREVENTED GEAR RETRACTION. THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED AND NORMAL OPERATION WAS RESTORED.
