Maintenance disclosure history
Service Difficulty Reports are self-reported maintenance findings. The NUMBER of reports is not a measure of reliability — diligent operators file more, not fewer. These are shown for transparency, not as a negative signal. To verify a report, search its control number at the FAA SDRS site.
Reports span 2005–2005. Most-reported systems: Hydraulic power (29) — 1. Most-common natures of condition, as filed: FLUID LOSS — 1.
1 report on file.
Part: LINE — CHAFED (HYDRAULIC SYS)
CUSTOMER REPORTED RED FLUID SEEP AT TOP IB OF RT WING. RT IB LEADING EDGES WERE REMOVED. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT A LEADING EDGE RETAINING SCREW HAD CHAFED THE RT HYDRAULIC PRESSURE LINE AND SUBSEQUENTLY CAUSED A HYDRAULIC LEAK. THE LINE WAS REPLACED AND THE AC WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS AREA IS NOT NORMALLY ACCESSED DURING PERIODIC INSPECTIONS. IT IS SUGGESTED THA THE AREA BE INSPECTED AT 800 HOUR INTERVALS. (EA03200602866) (K)
