DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, THE HYDRAULIC LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE HORN CAME ON. THE PILOT SLOWED THE ACFT AIRSPEED AND TURNED THE HYDRAULICS OFF. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO MAKE A RUN ON LANDING AT A PRIVATE AIRPORT. MECHANIC DISCOVERED THERE WAS NO HYDRAULIC FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR AND HYDRAULIC FLUID WAS FOUND ALL DOWN THE LT SIDE OF THE ACFT. DETERMINED THAT LT SERVO HAD LEAKED THE HYDRAULIC FLUID. THE LEFT SERVO WAS CHANGED AND NO FURTHER LEAKS WERE DETECTED. THE SERVO HAS BEEN RETURNED TO THE O/H FACILITY TO DETERMINE WHERE THE LEAK CAME FROM.
(10) MINUTES INTO A TOUR FLIGHT, THE PILOT NOTICED LOW VOLTAGE AND LOW FUEL PRESSURE, WITH NO (GEN) LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT RETURNED TO THE HELIPORT. UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE STARTER GENERATOR HAD A BURNING SMELL TO IT. THE STARTER GENERATOR WAS CHANGED AND THE AIRCRAFT OPERATED NORMALLY. IT APPEARS AT LEAST ONE SET OF BRUSHES WERE ARCING. (K)
WHILE DOING A PHOTO CHARTER, THE PILOT PRESSED THE ARM PUSHBUTTON TO ARM THE FLOAT SYSTEM AND THE FLOATS DEPLOYED. THE PILOT RETURNED TO THE HELIPORT. THE PILOT CLAIMS THE FLOAT FIRING PUSHBUTTON WAS IN THE REST POSITION, (NOT PUSHED IN). UPON INSPECTION OF THE SYSTEM, THERE WERE NO DISCREPANCIES FOUND. THE SYSTEM TESTED NORMAL, NO POWER TO THE CONNECTOR PLUGS WHEN THE ARM BUTTON IS PRESSED, ALL (4) CIRCUITS WORKING WHEN THE FIRE BUTTON IS PUSHED. (K)
DURING A TOUR FLIGHT, THE HIGH RPM HORN CAME ON (INTERMITTENLY) IN FLIGHT WITH THE ROTOR RPM IN THE GREEN. AFTER LANDING BACK AT HOME BASE, MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT THE INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. AFTER REPLACING THE ROTOR TACHOMETER TRANSDUCER, THE PROBLEM DID NOT REOCCUR. (K)
