DURING A 1000 HOUR AIRFRAME INSPECTION FOUND CORROSION AT THE FS 3150 BULKHEAD
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION OF FRAME 5 REQUIRED BY ASB21-01, DAMAGE WAS DISCOVERED AT FS 4,709 MM THE DAMAGE IS ADJACENT TO THE MEDICAL WALL ATTACH FITTINGS.
DURING THE COURSE OF MAINTENANCE, A CRACK WAS FOUND IN THE RH FRAME 5 U-PROFILE CHANNEL, JUST BELOW WHERE THE AVIONICS SHELF ATTACHES.
#1 STATOR ARM CRACKED AT LH UPPER CORNER. THIS AIRCRAFT REMAINS OOS AT THE TIME OF THIS SUBMISSION.
PILOT REPORTED WHILE IN CRUISE, THE AIR CONDITIONING SUDDENLY STOPPED BLOWING AIR. CYCLED AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL SWITCH AND CHECKED THE CIRCUIT BREAKER. NOTICED THAT BOTH "BUSS TIE OPEN" LIGHTS WERE ON, AND THEN A STRONG ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL BEGAN TO FILL THE COCKPIT WITH NO SIGNS OF SMOKE. SHUTDOWN BOTH GENERATORS AND LANDED IN A FIELD. MX REVEALED THAT THE BATTERY MASTER BOX HAD FAILED. REPLACED, AND ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
