SCAN OF GAUGES AT PRE-TAKEOFF CHECK SHOWED ALL ENGINE PARAMETERS IN THE NORMAL RANGE. A FEW MILES FROM THE AIRPORT (ABOUT 9 MINUTES FROM LIFT) I NOTICED #2 ENGINE OIL TEMP HAD EXCEEDED THE LIMIT AND REACHED 145C. I SLOWED THE AIRCRAFT , BROUGHT ENGINE #2 TO IDLE, AND TURNED BACK TO OUR BASE. ENGINE OIL TEMP REDUCED TO NORMAL RANGE UNDER THIS FLIGHT CONDITION. WE NOTIFIED EL CENTRO APPROACH OF THE SITUATION WITH OUR ENGINE AND ALSO INFORMED AIR COMM. ON APPROACH I RETURNED ENGINE #2 TO FLIGHT CONDITION AND LANDED NORMALLY WITH BOTH ENGINES FULL POWER. ONCE ON GROUND ATC WAS NOTIFIED LANDING ASSURED. NO EMERGENCY CREWS WERE DISPATCHED. I THEN CALLED MAINTENANCE, OCC, AND THE AOC.

ACFT SUB FLOOR HAS MULITPLE DENTS AND CRUSHED HONEYCOMB CORE. THIS ACFT WAS ALTERED WITH EMS KIT NR 135M-100. THE CAUSE OF THE DAMAGE IS SUSPECTED DUE TO INSTALLED MEDICAL FLOOR PALATE PN EC135M-2000-1, INADEQUATE TO SUPPORT THE STRETCHER ASSY WHEN LOADED WITH A PATIENT AND THE FRONT WHEELS OF THE THE STRETCHER ARE CRUSHING THE FLOOR.

DURING SCHEDULED INSP, A 1.5" LONG CRACK WAS DISCOVERED ON THE COMPOSITE LT CLAMSHELL DOOR. THE CRACK IS AT THE OPENING FOR THE LOCKING PIN TO SECURE THE DOORS TOGETHER NEXT TO THE UPPER LATCH ASSY, TERMED ALIGNMENT CONE BY THE MFG. THE DAMAGED AREA WAS SANDED & REPAIRED BY FABRICATING AND INSTALLING A DOUBLER FROM 0.025" 2024-T3 ALUMINUM AND LAYING UP 6 REPAIR PLIES OF 1581 FIBERGLASS AND RESIN. AREA WAS CURED USING VACUUM BAG TECHNIQUE. REPAIR WAS PERFORMED IAW REPAIR SHEET AE2009-127, REV B, DATED 10/27/2010.
