Maintenance disclosures
WHILE IN CRUISE FLIGHT BEGAN TO SMELL WHAT COULD ONLY DESCRIBE AS BURNING WIRES. ATTEMPTED TO ISOLATE THE SMELL BY TURNING OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYS WHICH SEEMED TO HELP. IMMEDIATELY LANDED BACK AT THE AIRPORT & CALLED THE MECHANIC. INSPECTED THE ACFT & FOUND THE AFT BLOWER EVAPORATOR MOTOR HARNESS BURNT AT ITS DISCONNECT UNDERNEATH THE AFT BELLY PANEL. REPAIRED THE CONNECTION TO THE BLOWER ASSEMBLY & RETURNED THIS ACFT TO SERVICE.
WHILE PERFORMING A TEFLON LINING REPLACEMENT ON MAIN ROTOR BLADE ROOT OBSERVED A VERTICAL CRACK IN THE BEARING LAMINATE AT ONE OF THE BLADE BOLT HOLES. DAMAGE IS NOT PERMISSIBLE IAW EC135 MM 62-11-00, 6-1, 26 B. SENT BLADE TO ECD FOR REPAIR.
VISUAL INSPECTION OF ENGINE COMPRESSOR BLADES SHOWED EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE. DETERMINED DAMAGE TO BE OUT OF LIMITS.
