PILOT REPORTED #1 ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE EXCEEDANCE OF 129.5. PLACED THE #1 ENGINE TO IDLE AND EXECUTED A SUCCESSFUL PRECAUTIONARY LANDING WITH A PATIENT ON BOARD TO KROA AIRPORT. THE PATIENT WAS TRANSPORTED BY GROUND. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE #1 ENGINE OIL COOLER BYPASS VALVE PN L792M2002102 AND UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PER PRATT AND WHITNEY EMM CH. 05-50-00.
PILOT REPORTED IN CRUISE FLIGHT THAT THE #1 ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE WAS HIGH. MECHANIC REPLACED #1 ENGINE OIL BYPASS VALVE.
PILOT MADE A PL FOR TAIL ROTOR CHIP LIGHT INDICATION. PERFORMED INSPECTION IAW MSM 05-51-00, 6-13 AND AMM 65-40-00, 6-1 AND FIGURE 601. FOUND ONE SMALL FINE HAIR ON THE CHIP DETECTOR, DEFINED AS CAT A. CLEANED AND REINSTALLED CHIP DETECTOR AND PERFORMED A 20 MINUTE GROUND RUN WITH NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSP, A CRACK WAS DISCOVERED IN THE FUSELAGE TAILCONE SUPPORT FRAME PN L533M1022205. REPAIR SCHEME REQUEST SUBMITTED TO MFG AND RECEIVED. REPAIR WILL CONSIST OF INSTALLED A SB DOUBLER ON THE FRAME. THIS HAD BEEN A ISSUE ON EARLIER SN ACFT, BUT THIS SN WAS NOT INCLUSIVE OF THE SB EC135-53-011.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSP, A CRACK WAS DISCOVERED IN A SUPPORT BEAM JUST BELOW FRAME 5 IN THE FUSELAGE TAILCONE. A REPAIR SCHEME REQUEST WAS SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED FROM THE MFG. THE CRACK WAS STOPPED DRILLED AND A REPAIR DOUBLER FROM 0.050" ALUMINUM WAS INSTALLED.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSP, FOUND THE TAIL ROTOR DRIVESHAFT FAIRING HAS A DELAMINATED AREA ON THE TOP SURFACE. THE DELAMINATED AREA WAS 8 INCHES L X 2.25 INCHES W. REPAIR SCHEME WAS PROVIDED FROM THE MFG AND THE FAIRING WAS REPAIRED.
