Maintenance disclosures
APPROXIMATELY TWO MINUTES OUT FROM LANDING AT BASE, NOTICED A STRONG BURNING ELECTRICAL SMELL. SOON AFTER THE CREW WAS ALSO ABLE TO PICK UP THE SMELL AS WELL. NEVER DETECTED ANY SMOKE OR FLAMES. CONTINUED TO DESTINATION AND LANDED. AFTER SHUTDOWN THE SMELL WAS STILL DETECTABLE FROM THE TOP OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, BUT BY THE TIME THE MECHANIC ARRIVED IT HAD DISSIPATED. RAN ACFT AT FULL RPM FOR 10 MINUETS WITH ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ON TO INCLUDE LANDING AND SEARCH LIGHTS. SMELLED OVER THE TOP OF DASH SEVERAL TIMES DURNING GROUND RUN, NOTHING DETECTED. WIND WAS CALM ON THE PAD. NO SMELL OF FUMES, SMOKE OR FLAMES DETECTED, ALL EQUIPMENT WAS REACTING NORMAL NO DEFECTS NOTED. COULD NOT DUPLICATE.
SN 0326 WAS FOUND TO HAVE CORROSION DAMAGE TO THE RH FS 3150 ANGLE, TâCAP AND BULKHEAD WEB. REPAIR REQUIRED WAS REPLACEMENT OF THE T-CAP AND ANGLES AND DOUBLER INSTALLATION ON THE WEB.
DURING FLIGHT, TRANSMISSION CHIP WARNING WAS NOTICED. PILOT MADE A UNSCHEDUELD LANDING AT NEAREST AIRPORT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED TRANSMISSION AND A CHIP WAS FOUND. CHIP WAS FOUND TO BE A STAGE A AND WORK WAS COMPLETED IAW ASB EC135-63A-012 FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING ACFT START-UP, NR 1 HYD PUMP CAUTION INDICATION ILLUMINATED ON CAD. PILOT SHUTDOWN ACFT. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED NR 1 HYD PUMP SHAFT WAS SHEARED. R & R NR 1 HYDRAULIC PUMP UNDER WO 100675.
