FOUND A .780 INCH CRACK FOUND IN THE UPPER FRAME DURING INSPECTION OF TAIL BOOM AFTER REMOVAL OF HORIZONTAL STABILIZER. REPLACED THE UPPER AND LOWER FRAMES.
DURING THE COMPLETION OF AAIP C 0521 100 HOUR INSPECTION STEP 13 NOTICED A EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF FUZZ ON THE MAGNETIC CHIP DETECTOR. REFERENCED AMM 65-22-00,6-1 AND DETERMINED THE WEAR FELL INTO THE MASSIVE AMOUNT OF FUZZ CATEGORY AND DEEMED THE GEARBOX TO BE CHANGED. THIS AIRCRAFT REMAINS OUT OF SERVICE AT THE TIME OF THIS SUBMISSSION FOR REPLACEMENT OF THIS GEARBOX.
IN LEVEL FLIGHT, CREW DETECTED ODOR IN AFT CABIN SPREADING FORWARD TO COCKPIT. NOT ELECTRICAL, BUT MORE OF SOMETHING GETTING VERY HOT BUT NOT QUITE BURNING. AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS SHUTOFF AND THE ODOR DISSIPATED. ACFT RETURNED TO BASE. MECHANIC NOTHING COULD BE FOUND AT THIS TIME. ON NEXT RUN UP A/C UNIT SHUTDOWN AFTER 10 MINUTE GROUND RUN COMPRESSER AND FAN UNITS BUT NO ODOR OCCCURED. FOUND FAULTY GENERATOR FAILED RELAYS. REPLACED RELAYS. A/C UNIT OPERATES CORRECTLY BUT ODOR RETURNED DURING 10 MINUTE MX FLIGHT. OPEN
