LOWER AFT BODY OVERHEAT LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER TAKEOFF AT TAKEOFF THRUST SETTING. RAN THROUGH RED TABS AND ISOLATED NR 2 ENGINE BLEED CAUSES LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE ABOVE 88 PERCENT AT 15,000 MSL. LIGHT REMAINED OUT AS LONG AS NR 2 WAS KEPT AT REDUCED THRUST. FOUND THE NR 2 ENG TOP ANTI-ICE DUCT BLOWN AND FIRE-WALL DAMAGE. INVESTIGATION REVEALED BLOWN NR 2 ENG PNEUMATIC DUCT AND LARGE HOLE IN FORWARD FIRE WALL WHICH ALLOWED BLEED AIR INTO AFT BODY AREA. FIRE WALL DAMAGE REPAIRED. BLEED AIR DUCT REPLACED. NR 2 ENG RUN TO POWER PER JET RUN-UP HANDBOOK AND THERE WAS NO REOCCURRENCE OF AFT BODY OVERHEAT.
ON GEAR EXTENSION, RED NOSE GEAR LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE NORM. GRN LIGHT CAME ON OK, IT THEN FLICKERED AND THE WARN HORN STARTED TO SOUND INTERMITTENTLY. GRN LIGHT THEN WENT OUT AND WOULD NOT TEST, THEN TESTED OK. THROTTLE RESTARTED AND UNSAFE INDICATION WARN GEAR RECYCLED TO NO AVAIL. COULD NOT SEE ALIGNMENT STRIPE. NOSE GEAR MANUALLY EXTENDED, GRN LIGHT CAME ON AND MAINS HYDRAULICALLY EXTENDED OK. ON FINAL NOSE GEAR GRN LIGHT STAYED ON BUT WARN HORN SOUNDED INTERMITTENTLY AGAIN. LUBED NOSE GEAR ASSY PER M/M 12-21-11 PG 202. CKD DOWNLOCK SWITCH, RETRACT AND EXTEND COMPONENTS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. JACKED NOSE AND RETRACTED SEVERAL TIMES, OPERATIONAL CKS GOOD PER M/M 32-33-11.
AFTER INITIAL EXTENSION OF LANDING GEAR, NOSE GEAR LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE GREEN LIGHT TESTED OKAY. LANDING GEAR RETRACTED AND EXTENDED AGAIN WITH SAME RESULT OF UNSAFE NOSE GEAR INDICATION. ACCOMPLISHED CHECK LIST, RAISED AND LOWERED GEAR AGAIN. NOSE GEAR INDICATION GREEN ON THIRD ATTEMP AND ON ALL ATTEMPTS FELT NOSE GEAR EXTEND. CHECKED FOR WATER IN E AND E BAY AROUND LANDING GEAR MODULE, CHECKED ALL WIRING AND RIGGING ON NOSE GEAR DOWN LOCK SWITCH. CLEANED SWITCH WITH CONTACT CLEANER AND LUBED LINKAGE.
