AFTER NDT INSPECTIONS, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE MINIMUM THICKNESS IS 0.54", AND THE NOMINAL THICKNESS IS 0.064" â 15.625% DECREASE. THE BLEND OUT IS BEYOND LIMITS OF B767-300 SRM 53-00-01 AND NO SRM REPAIR WAS FOUND.

DURING CONVERSION OF S/N 25354, MAINTENANCE WAS REQUIRED TO REPLACE ENGINE #2 INLET COWL. THE REPLACEMENT INLET COWL P/N 224-2101-563, S/N 0634RV860 PROVIDED BY COSTUMER. THE NOTED INLET COWL WAS INSTALLED ON A/C AND POLISHED. MAINTENANCE REPORTED CORROSION/PITTING ON THE INLET COWL LIP AND UNDER SEVERAL FASTENER HEADS AS REPORTED IN RFTA 02905-0244. COSTUMER REQUESTED A TIME LIMITED REPAIR APPROVAL FOR 10 FLIGHT CYCLES.
DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION SHOP FOUND EXISTING LATCH REPAIR DOUBLER ON THE OUTBD CORE COWL ENG #2 B/T NAC STA 267 TO 274.5 AT 6 OâCLOCK, CENTER LATCH. DURING DISASSEMBLE THE EXISTING DOUBLER, SHOP FOUND TWO (2) ELONGATED HOLES, 1 HOLE IN DIA 0.328â AND THE SECOND ONE 0.284â DIA. IN ADDITION, THESE ELONGATED HOLES ARE COMMON TO BOTH SKIN AND INNER FRAME AND FOUND DAMAGED ON BOTH PARTS.
DURING AIRCRAFT CARGO CONVERSION, A 0.186" DIAMETER INITIAL FASTENER HOLE WAS MISTAKENLY DAMAGED IN THE STA 1065 BULKHEAD WEB AND NO. 6 STIFFENER. THE BULKHEAD STRUCTURE IS CLASSIFIED AS PRIMARY STRUCTURE, A PSE, AND FCBS (NOTE 1) PER REF 767-300 SRM 51-00-04, STRUCTURE CLASSIFICATION.
TAILCONE OUTER SKIN BTWN STA 1943.5-1952: DURING CONVERSION AT IAI IN TLV, MTX FOUND SEVERAL DAMAGES AND UNDICUMENTED REPAIRS ON OUTER TAILCONE SKIN. THE FOUNDS WERE: -BLEND OUTS; - WELDING REPAIRS; - LIGHTNING STRIKES; - FASTENER REPAIRS. SOME OF THESE FOUNDING ARE NOT WITHIN TOLERANCE IAW SRM 53-80-01-1A-1 AND 53-00-01-2R-8 RPR8. THE TAILCONE SKIN IS MADE FROM 321 CRES SHEET 0.025" IN THICK IAW SRM 53-80-01 ID1.
BT STA 1518-1562, STR 38L-37R: DURING DAMAGED SHEAR TIE P/N 140T2102U585 REMOVAL IN ORDER TO INSTALL NEW SHEAR TIE SHOP MISTAKENLY DOUBLE DRILLED THE TEAR STRAP AND SKIN AT 4EA HOLES. THE ORIGINAL HOLE DIA 0.186â. THE HOLES WERE DRILLED UNTIL THE WHOLE DAMAGE WAS REMOVED, AND HFEC INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED â NO CRACK OR OTHER DAMAGE WAS FOUND. SKIN P/N 146T3240, IS MADE FROM 0.160â CLAD 2024-T3 (CHEM-MILLED OR MASHINED TO 0.056). THERE IS NO APPLICABLE REPAIR FOR THIS DAMAGE IN SRM. R/H MLG DOOR: MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED A PUNCTURE AT THE INNER SKIN OF R/H MLG DOOR IN A CRITICAL AREA (LESS THAN 10 INCHES FROM THE CENTER HINGE). SHOP REPORTED SEVERAL DAMAGES NEAR THE NOTED PUNCTURE. ALL OTHER DAMAGES WERE REPAIRED PER SRM 52-80 REQUIREMENTS.

THE FUSELAGE SKIN SUFFERED A LIGHTNING STRIKE AT A SKIN LAP SPLICE AT STA 220 AND WL 188. THE DAMAGE RESULTED IN A SMALL (APPROX 1) CUTOUT IN THE UPPER SKIN PANEL OF THE SKIN LAP. THE DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED WITH A DOUBLER INSTALLED PER THE B767 SRM 53-00-01, FIG 201 AND DOCUMENTED PER ER/A 363602-14.
DURING SERVICE CHECK, F/C AND B/C EMERGENCY LIGHTS FAILED TEST. REPLACED BATTERY PACK AND POWER SUPPLY, OPERATION TEST SATISFACTORY.
