WHILE ON CLIMB OUT, THE PILOT NOTICED THAT THE RT WING OVERHEAT LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE RT GENERATOR WAS SHUT DOWN, BLEED AIR TURNED OFF AND THE LANDING GEAR EXTENDED. AFTER 3 MINUTES THE LIGHT WAS STILL ILLUMINATED AND PROCEDURES CALL OUT FOR ENGINE SHUT DOWN. SHORTLY AFTER ENGINE SHUT DOWN THE LIGHT EXTINGUISHED. THE PILOT INFORMED THE TOWER OF HIS SITUATION AND WAS CLEARED TO RETURN TO THE AIRPORT WHERE HE MADE AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING. UPON INVESTIGATION, NO EVIDENCE OF FIRE OR OVERHEATING COULD BE FOUND IN THE WING AND GEAR WELL AREAS. A NEW DUCT SENSOR WAS INSTALLED AS A PRECAUTION.

NR 2 ENGINE FIRE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON DURING CLIMB, CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO STATION. SUSPECT INDICATION PROBLEM. FOUND FIRE DETECTOR MOUNTED UNDER THE OIL COOLER AT THE FIRE WALL WITH A LOOSE CENTER CONNECTOR, ALLOWING THE CERAMIC CENTER TO SHIFT AND GO TO GROUND. TIGHTENED CENTER CONNECTOR AND INSTALLED SECOND NUT AS A SAFETY. SYSTEM OPS CHECKED GOOD. (M)
FCA - FLT 2582 - THE RIGHT BLEED AIR STARTED MAKING SMOKE IN THE CABIN. SUSPECTED RT ACM FAILED. INTERMIM REPORT INITIALLY DEFERRED RT ACM. FOUND RT ACM SEIZED. REPLACED ACM. TEARDOWN REPORT STATED THE BEARING WERE DRY, WADDING WAS DRY, BUT THE WICK WAS NORMAL. THE TEARDOWN REPORT STATED IT WAS SUSPECTED THAT EITHER THE INITIAL AND SUBSEQUENT SERVICING WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY. A MEMO ON THIS SUBJECT WAS ISSUED. THIS ISSUE WITH PERSONNEL INVOLVED. (M)
BIL - FLT 2551 - DURING CRUISE, THE COPILOT AVIONICS LIGHT PANEL GOT HOT AND STARTED TO SMOKE. LIGHTS WERE TURNED OFF AND SMOKE STOPPED. CREW LANDED AT DESTINATION WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. OVERLAY LIGHTED PANEL WIRING PROBLEM. FOUND CARBON TRACING IN THE FIBERGLASS ON THE BACK OF THE PANEL BETWEEN THE NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE POWER STRIPS. THE POWER STRIPS WERE ALSO CORRODED. THE DAMAGE WAS ROUTED OUT, THEN AREA WAS REPAIRED. (M)

FLT 1314 - WDG - DURING CRUISE, THE CREW NOTICED THE TORQUE WAS DROPPING ON THE LEFT ENGINE. THEY MOVED THROTTLE FORWARD UNTIL IT REACHED THE STOPS. TORQUE CONTINUED TO DROP, ALONG WITH FUEL FLOW. OVER A 5 MINUTE PERIOD THE TORQUE WENT TO 0, OIL PRESSURE AND TEMP WERE STILL READING IN NORMAL RANGE. CREW SHUT DOWN AND FEATHERED ENGINE AFTER IT WENT TO 0 TORQUE. DIVERTED FROM PLANNED FLIGHT AND LANDED AT DIVERTED TO ALTERNATE AIRPORT. REPLACED BROKEN FUEL LINE, LEAK CHECK AND OPS CHECK GOOD. (M)

THE F/O SAW ENG SURROUNDED BY MIST, PROBABLY OIL BLOWN OUT OF GEARBOX. PROP STOPPED AFTER THE ENG FEATHERED. PROP COULD STILL BE TURNED BY HAND AFTER LANDING. PROP FLANGE LOCKED UP LATER WHEN ENG REMOVED AND PIECES INSIDE SHIFTED. BULL GEAR BROKE APART WHILE ENG RUNNING. REPLACED ENG, TEARDOWN OCCURED JAN 8/9.
