ACTIVATED THE CHIP PULSE SYS ONCE & THE WARNING LIGHT DID NOT EXTINGUISH. SHUTDOWN NR 2 ENG & DIVERTED. DECLARED AN EMER & PROCEEDED. AN EMER BRIEF & ALL CHECKLISTS WERE COMPLETED. CAPITAL TOWER CLEARED US TO LAND ON RWY 34L. INTENTIONS TO DO A LOW APPROACH OVER THE RUNWAY & A GO AROUND. A SINGLE ENG LANDING WAS COMPLETED TO THE PARALLEL TAXIWAY WITH NO OEI LIMITATIONS EXCEEDED. THE ACFT WAS SHUTDOWN USING NORMAL PROCEDURES & CHECKLISTS.
90 DEG, TAIL ROTOR GEAR BOX ATTACHMENT FITTING, CRACKED ABOUT 1 CM AT OTBD TOP MOUNTING BOLT.
A SMALL CRACK IS EVIDENT WHERE THE CAMLOCK FASTENER RIVETS INTERNALLY ON THE SPAR IN THE VERTICAL FIN.
TAIL BOOM VERTICAL FIN OUTER SKIN WAS CRACKED AT THE TAIL ROTOR GEAR BOX CASTING ACCESS PANEL.
THE MAIN ROTOR SHAFT HAS CORROSION ON THE TOP OF THE FLANGE WHERE IT COMES INTO CONTACT WITH THE SILVER SHIM AND THE MAIN ROTOR HEAD. THE CORROSION IS BEYOND LIMITS.
