PILOT REPORTED THAT THERE WAS A STRONG ELECTRICAL ODOR IN THE COCKPIT. MX INSPECTED ACFT DUCT SYS, RAN ACFT AND OPS CHECKED SYS WITH FLIGHT CREW, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED GLARE SHIELD EMERGENCY LIGHTS FAIL TO ILLUMINATE ON CAPTAIN`S SIDE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE SWITCH, OPS CHECKED GOOD.

PILOT REPORTED THAT THE INSTRUMENT EMERGENCY LIGHT IS INOPERATIVE. MX REPLACED THE SYS FUSE, OPS CHECKED GOOD.
CREW TRIED TO EXTENDED THE GEAR NORMALLY BUT THE GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. CREW RAN CHECKLIST AND EXTENDED THE GEAR MANUALLY. AFTER MANUAL EXTENSION THERE WERE NO ABNORMAL INDICATIONS NOTED. MX R & R RT MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR IAW TC 1900-3230.10, REV 1. OPS, LEAK AND RIG CHECKED GOOD.
MAJOR REPAIR - DURING A SCHEDULED ROUTINE INSPECTION, FOUND A SMALL CRACK ON THE HORIZONTAL STAB AFT SPAR CENTER WEB AT 2-OCLOCK POSITION AS VIEWED FROM REAR, .125" IN LENGTH. REPAIRED THE AFFECTED AREA AND PERFORMED ALL REQUIRED RII INSPECTIONS IAW FR EO 02401. MATERIALS UTILIZED ARE INCLUDED IN THE EO.
MAJOR REPAIR - SEAT TRACK AT FS 423 AND WL 95, CORNER WORN .05", .12" ON LT SIDEWALL. REPAIRED THE AFFECTED AREA AND PERFORMED ALL REQUIRED RII INSPECTIONS IAW EO 12-1900-53-001. MATERIALS UTILIZED ARE INCLUDED IN THE EO.
INSTRUMENT EMERGENCY LIGHT ON CAPTAIN'S SIDE BURNED OUT. MX REPLACED THE BULB IAW BMM 33-10-04, OPS CHECKED GOOD.
PILOT REPORTED THAT THE INSTRUMENT EMERGENCY LIGHT ON THE CA'S SIDE BURNED OUT. MX REPLACED THE BULB PN: 1864, IAW BMM 33-10-04, OPS CK GOOD.
PILOT REPORTED THAT SMOKE WAS COMING FROM UNDER THE GLARESHIELD. MX RAN ENGINES, WS HEAT, AND BLEEDS, NO SMOKE NOTED AT THIS TIME.
PASSENGERS REPORTED A STRONG FUELD SMELL IN THE BACK OF THE AIRCRAFT. MAINTENANCE RAN BOTH ENGINES AND INSPECTED FOR FUEL LEAKS AND ODORS INSIDE IN THE AIRCRAFT, COULD NOT DUPLICATE ANY ODORS OR LEAKS, OK FOR SERVICE.
DURING A SCHEDULED ROUNTINE INSP MX, FOUND THE RT STABILON HAS A .5" HOLE 9" FROM T/E CORNER, CRACK RADIATED FROM INBD EDGE OF HOLE 1" IN LENGTH. MAINTENANCE COULD NOT REPAIR RT STABILON, REPLACED RT STABILON IAW BMM 55-10-01-201, NO RII REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION.
MAJOR REPAIR - DURING A SCHEDULED ROUNTINE INSP MX FOUND A CRACK IN THE INNER SKIN OF THE 6A EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR LOWER FWD CORNER, .7" IN LENGTH. MX REPAIRED THE AFFECTED AREA AND PERFORMED ALL REQUIRED RII INSPECTIONS I.A.W. EO 10-1900-52-007. MATERIALS UTILIZED ARE INCLUDED IN THE ENGINEERING ORDER.

MAJOR REPAIR - DURING A SCHEDULED ROUNTINE INSP, MX FOUND A CRACK IN THE RT FUSELAGE FRAME AT FS 456 & STR 10R AT THE STRINGER CUTOUT, .3" IN LENGTH. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED THE AFFECTED AREA AND PERFORMED ALL REQUIRED RII INSPECTIONS I.A.W. EO 10-1900-53-062. MATERIALS UTILIZED ARE INCLUDED IN THE ENGINEERING ORDER.
PILOTS REPORTED THEY HEARD LOUD MOTOR NOISE ON AND OFF. CONSISTENTLY WITH THE MOTOR NOISE THEY NOTICED THE DC LOAD WOULD GAIN 10-20 PERCENT. AFTER SEVERAL MIN OF THE THIS THEY NOTICED THE GEAR HANDLE IN TRANSIT LIGHT ILLUMINATED. IT EXTINGUISHED SHORTLY AFTER. THE GEAR HANDLE ILLUMINATED AGAIN AND THEY NOTICED THE CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. THEY PUMPED THE GEAR DOWN AND GOT (3) GREEN INDICATION LIGHTS AND THE GEAR HANDLE LIGHT EXTINGUISHED.
AIR RETURN, DUE TO UNAVAILABILITY OF PWR ON THE NR 2 ENG. PILOTS REPORTED THAT AN AIR RETURN OCCURRED DUE TO THE UNAVAILABILITY OF PWR ON NR 2 ENG. MX RIGGED RT ENG PWR CABLE ROD END IAW. OPS CHECK WAS GOOD. RII INSP COMPLIED IAW TASKCARD 4.3.13 AND WAS FOUND SATISFACTORY.
MAJOR REPAIR, DURING ROUTINE MX A CRACK WAS FOUND ON THE RUDDER TRIM ROD CUT OUT. APPROX RUDDER STA CSS 31.20. CRACK APPROX .375 INCH LONG. MX REMOVED DAMAGED AND REPAIRED THE AFFECTED AREA IAW EO-09-1900-27-001. RII INSPECTIONS COMPLIED WITH AND RUDDER BALANCED IAW MM 55-40-00-201. NO WEIGHT CHANGE REQUIRED.

FLIGHT:9279 PBI/NAS AFTER TAKEOFF ODOR OF SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT AND CABIN. RETURNED TO PBI LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. RAN AIRCRAFT WITH ALL EQUIPMENT ON NO SIGN OF SMOKE ODOR NOTED. TEST FLIGHT SATISFACTORY.
FLIGHT: 9259 FLL/MHH DURING FLIGHT SMELL OF FUEL IN THE COCKPIT. RETURNED TO FLL LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REPLACED RT ENGINE FUEL NOZZLE TRANSFER TUBES AT THE THREE O CLOCK POSITION.
DURING FLIGHT, RT ENGINE LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. SECURED THE RT ENGINE. RETURNED TO DEPARTURE. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REMOVED AND REPLACED RT ENGINE OVERSPEED GOVERNOR GASKET. OPS LEAK CHECK NORMAL. (K)
ON LANDING APPROACH IN EYW. AIRCRAFT LOST ALL INDICATION ON POSITION OF RT LANDING GEAR. CREW ABORTED LANDING. CYCLED GEAR AND GOT THREE DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION. LANDED SAFELY WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. CLEANED DOWNLOCK SWITCHES. JACKED AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED GEAR RETRACTION TEST. COULD NOT DUPLICATE AFTER MANY CYCLES. OPS CK NORMAL
AFTER TAKEOFF FLAPS STUCK AT A PLACE IN BETWEEN 17 DEGREES & 34 DEGREES. CREW THEN DECIDED TO RETURN TO FIELD AND LANDED SAFELY WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENTS. CLEANED LT / RT SPLIT FLAP SWITCHES OPS CK NORMAL.

ON DECEMBER 22, 2001, THE STALL WARNING HORN SOUNDED IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE HORN WOULD NOT SILENCE, AND THEN RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO ICT WITHOUT ANY FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTNANCE CORRECTED THE PROBLEM, AND RETURNED TO THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. THE PILOT SUBMITTED A MIS FOR THE INCIDENT. (M)

FABRICATED AND INSTALLED A 2.5 INCH BY 2.5 PATCH USING FLAP SKIN STOCK IAW BEECHCRAFT SRM 54-70, 51-40 AND TO 1900-27-00-0001. (M)

DURING AN ROUTINE INSPECTION, A RIVET IN THE ICE VANE WAS FOUND MISSING. INSPECTION OF THE COMPRESSOR REVEALED THE BLIND RIVET WENT THOUGH THE ENGINE. THE GAS GEN WAS REPLACED DUE TO FOD. (M)
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, THE RIGHT FIXED ICE VALVE WAS FOUND TO TO HAVE SEVERAL CRACKS.
CAPTAIN'S WINDSHIELD CRACKED ALONG THE OUTBOARD EDGE OF WINDSHIELD APPROXIMATELY 14 INCHES LONG. REMOVED AND REPLACED WINDSHIELD. AIRCRAFT HAD 74 FLIGHT HOURS AND 119 CYCLES SINCE NEW FROM BEECHCRAFT.
