SMOOTH LANDING. INSPECTED CABIN, AIR SYSTEM, ENGINES, NO TROUBLE NOTED. PERFORMED IDLE AND HIGH POWER RUNS, COULD NOT DUPLICATE. DUE TO TEMP CONTROL VALVE MCO, BORROWING TEMP VALVE AND CONTROLLER. REPLACED SAME.

A .75 INCH LONG CRACK WAS FOUND EMANATING FROM THE AFT, OUTBD CORNER OF A CUTOUT IN THE AFT UPPER SPAR WEB OF THE NR 1 ENGINE NACELLE STRUT AT FS 222, LBL4. THE CRACK WAS ROUTED OUT AND A STEEL DOUBLER REPAIR WAS INSTALLED AROUND THE CORNER OF THE CUTOUT PER ER/A 365126-14, REV B.

AFTER TAKEOFF 1.5 HOURS INTO FLIGHT, SMELLED ELECTRICAL FUMES IN COCKPIT ACCOMPANIED BY FWD EQUIPMENT EXHAUST FAN STATUS MESSAGE ON EICAS. CALLED FLIGHT CONTROL AND MTC COORDINATOR TO DISCUSS SITUATION AND DECIDED TO PULL P-22 CB. FUMES DISSIPATED AND FLIGHT WAS CONTINUED. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION FOUND THE FWD EXH EQUIP COOL FAN C/B ON P-6 PANEL POPPED. REPLACED FWD EQUIPMENT EXHAUST FAN, SYSTEM CHECKS NORMAL.
