TOOK AIRCRAFT OUT OF SERVICE FOR SCHEDULED MX (LATE START DUE TO AIRCRAFT FLIGHTS) FOR A1042 300/12MO STARTER INSPECTION AND C 0520 100HOUR ICA INSPECTION, FOUND MULTIPLE DISCREPANCIES, UPON FURTHER DISCUSSIONS WITH THE CREW IT WAS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THEY HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING A FUEL ODOR IN THE CABIN, BEGAN TROUBLESHOOTING , REMOVED HAT RACK TO PERFORM PRESSURE TEST OF THE FUEL SYSTEM PER AMM DMC-407-A-28-00-00-00A-362A-A, AND QAN Q-2024-01 DURING THIS PROCEDURE WE REPLACED THE FUEL VENT LINES

DURING FIRST GROUND RUN FOLLOWING TURBINE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT, OIL WAS FOUND LEAKING FROM THE GAS PRODUCER TURBINE PRESSURE OIL NOZZLE. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING WE HAD TOUCHED. UPON INSPECTION IT WAS FOUND THAT THE SEALING RING UNDER THE NOZZLE HAD BEEN CRACKED, LIKELY OVER-TIGHTENED BY STANDARD AERO. I REPLACED THE SEALING RING AND NO LEAKS WERE FOUND DURING THE SUBSEQUENT ENGINE RUN.

PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, HE TURNED ON THE VENTILATION FAN IN COCKPIT AND CABIN. AFTER ACTIVATION, CREW REPORTED SMELLING OF BURNING WIRES COMING FROM THE VENTS. THE PILOT TURNED OFF CABIN VENTS AND LEFT COCKPIT VENT FANS ON, AND NO SMELL WAS COMING FROM COCKPIT VENT SYSTEM. THE CREW REPORTED THAT THE SMELL WAS STILL LINGERING BUT NOT GETTING ANY STRONGER. PILOT REPORTED NEVER SMELLING FUMES, IN THE COCKPIT. THE PILOT RETURNED TO THE BASE AND SHUT DOWN THE AIRCRAFT. BY THE TIME THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE CABIN TO SMELL THE FUMES, THE SMELL OF FUMES WERE NO LONGER PRESENT. MECHANIC WAS ON SITE THEY COULD FIND NO SMOKING WIRES OR BURNED SMELL IN AIRCRAFT. PERFORMED OPS CHECKS OF ALL SYSTEMS, OPS CHECKS GOOD AND NO FUMES NOTED. PERFORMED TEST FLIGHT AND OPERATED ALL SYSTEMS IN FLIGHT, AND NO FUMES NOTED. DISCREPANCY COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED.
