PRESSURIZATION TEST AS TO AMM 05-51-24-782-001, PERFORMED NO FAULT, NO LEAKAGE. NO OTHER FAULT FOUND.

WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING SEAT 10A SNAKE LIGHT INOP ITEM, FOUND SCU TO BE EXTREMELY HOT. FURTHER T/S FOUND SNAKE LIGHT SHORT HARNESS WHICH CONNECTS SNAKE LIGHT TO SEAT MAIN HARNESS WORN THROUGH AND ARCED TO SEAT BACK FRAME. THE HARNESS AT THIS POINT WAS ALSO EXTREMELY HOT. DEACTIVATED SNAKE LIGHT UNTIL PROBLEM CAN BE RECTIFIED.

REPLACED A2B-3 CABLE, RIGGED AND OPS CHECKED SAME, ALL OK. SPLICED RIGHT GENERATOR FEEDER CABLE FROM P-32 PANEL TO FORWARD CARGO COMPARTMENT WALL, OPS CHECK GOOD.

FOUND NR 6 SLAT ACTUATOR ROD BROKEN IN HALF PREVENTING FULL RETRACTION. ROD CAUSED DAMAGE TO SLAT T/E WEDGE. REPLACED ACTUATOR AND FERRIED AIRCRAFT TO ATL FOR REPAIRS.
