TWENTY MIN AFTER REACHING TOP OF CLIMB FL310, LOUD NOISE HEARD IN R-1 DOOR AREA. AIR LEAK HEARD ON FWD EDGE OF R-1 DOOR. NO PROBLEM WITH PRESSURIZATION OR CABIN ALTITUDE. AFTER LANDING JFK DURING TAXI R-1 DOOR OPENED AND SLIDE DEPLOYED ON TAXI-WAY. REPLACED SLIDE, DOOR OPERATION OK.
THE FUSELAGE SKIN, UNDERLYING STRINGER AND UNDERLYING FRAME CHORD WERE PUNCTURED AND DAMAGED BY GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT. A NEW SECTION OF STRINGER WAS SPLICED, THE FRAME CHORD REPAIRED, AND A SKIN DOUBLER INSTALLED PER THE B767 SRM AND DOCUMENTED PER ER/A 367542-14.
FAS NOTICED ELECTRICAL SMELL ASSOCIATED W/ FWD GALLEY C/MS. SMELL DISSIPATED WHEN THE C/MS WERE SHUT OFF. REMOVED BOTH COFFEEMAKERS AND INSPECTED WIRING. WIRING OK. OPERATED BOTH C/MS, CKD OK. REMOVED REMNANTS OF PLASTIC ON C/M 1 HOT PLATE, OPS OK.
THE FUSELAGE SKIN AND UNDERLYING STRINGER WERE DENTED AND SCRATCHED BY GROUND EQUIPMENT AT FS 401, STRINGER 33R. THE DAMAGED AREA SKIN WAS CUTOUT 16 X 3.5 AREA AND THE DAMAGED SECTION OF STRINGER WAS CUTOUT. THE STRINGER WAS REPAIRED PER THE B767 SRM AND THE SKIN WAS REPAIRED WITH AN EXTERNAL ALUMINUM DOUBLER INSTALLED PER ER/A 366402-14, REV A.
HEAVY HOT DUCT ELECTRICAL SMELL AFT OF MID GALLEY. PULLED AFT EQ EXHAUST FAN NR 1, NO HELP. INSPECTED ENTIRE AREA AFT OF MID GALLEY INCLUDING GALLEY OVENS AND COFFEEMAKERS. RAN BOTH PACKS AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM, NO FAULTS FOUND, A/C DISPATCHED. AS A PRECAUTION, CLEANED GALLEY VENT FAN SCREEN, REPLACED S75 THERMAL SWITCH AND V13 CARGO HEAT VALVE PER MSU SET UP. RAN ALL GALLEY AND CABIN SYSTEMS, NO PROBLEM NOTED.
EICAS/OVERHEAD RUDDER RATIO AND AILERON LOCK-OUT MESSAGE CAME ON AFTER LEVEL OFF AND A/P DISCONNECT. TRIED RESET, NO HELP. A/C SUSTAINED LIGHTNING STRIKE AFTER TAKEOFF. REPLACED LEFT AND RIGHT SAM MODULES PER MM. MCDP TEST NUMBER 40 ALL OK. PERFORMED LIGHTNING STRIKE INSPECTION PER 05-51-19-2, ALL OK.
