AFTER TAKEOFF, THE PILOT NOTICED THE LEFT ENGINE ITT INDICATOR WAS INDICATING MORE THAN 900 C. LEFT ENGINE THROTTLE WAS PULLED BACK UNTIL THE TEMPERATURE WAS AT 695 C, THE REDUCTION IN POWER CAUSED A LARGE SPLIT IN POWER OUT PUT FOR THE LEFT AND RIGHT ENGINES. THE PILOT PERFORMED A PRECAUTIONARY SHUT DOWN OF THE LEFT ENGINE, RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE LEFT ENGINE ITT INDICATING SYSTEM AND FOUND THE INSULATION AND RESISTANCE SETTING OF THE SYSTEM WERE WITHIN SERVICEABLE LIMITS. REPLACED THE LEFT ENGINE ITT INDICATOR WITH A SERVICEABLE UNIT. GROUND RUNS COMPETED AND THE LEFT ENGINE ITT INDICATOR FUNCTIONED NORMALLY.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING DEPARTURE, THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED TO THE UP POSITION. THE MLG REMAINED DOWN WITH A LANDING GEAR UNSAFE INDICATION, AND A LOUD SOUND WAS HEARD AND FELT THROUGHOUT THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT THEN PERFORMED A TROUBLESHOOTING SCAN AND VERIFYING THE MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION HANDLE WAS STOWED, AND NO LOW HYDRAULIC FLUID LIGHT OR CIRCUIT BREAKER ABNORMALITIES WERE PRESENT, EXTENDED THE GEAR AND IT SHOWED A POSITIVE GEAR DOWN INDICATION. ALLOWED FOR A TWO MINUTE COOLING PERIOD AND RETRACTED THE GEAR AGAIN AND THIS TIME THE INDICATION SHOWED THE LEFT MAIN GEAR AND THE NOSE GEAR STILL IN THE DOWN POSITION AND A GEAR UNSAFE INDICATION . EXTENDED THE GEAR AND RECEIVED A POSITIVE THREE GREEN GEAR DOWN INDICATION AND MADE A DECISION TO LEAVE THE GEAR IN THE DOWN POSITION. CONTINUED UP TO ALTITUDE AND CONSULTED THE ABNORMAL CHECK LIST AND PROCEDURES PERTAINING TO A FAULTY GEAR RETRACTION EVENT. DIVERTED, AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. MX INSPECTED AND FOUND THAT THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR SHAFT HAD SHEARED AT THE THREADED PORTION. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LEFT MLG ACTUATOR. PERFORMED RIGGING CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS AND THEN GEAR SWINGS. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE AND NO SUBSEQUENT DIFFICULTIES HAVE BEEN REPORTED.

AFTER TAKEOFF, PILOT NOTICED THE LT GEN ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED, PILOT TRIED TO RESET GEN TWO TIMES WITH NO EFFECT. DECIDED TO RETURN AFTER VECTORING BACK PILOT NOTICED A BURNING SMELL. TURNED OFF THE LT GEN SWITCH & LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEAL DEFECTIVE DIODE PN 1N0007 ON LT OVER VOLTAGE RELAY & LT GEN CONTROL FUSE PN AGC15. REPLACED DEFECTIVE PARTS & PERFORMED LT GEN OPERATIONAL CHECK. ALL CHECKS WERE NORMAL.

DURING CLIMB OUT AT APPROX 8000 FT MSL, PILOT NOTICED RT GENERATOR FAILED. PERFORMED POH CHECKLIST ITEMS & TRIED TO RESET GENERATOR WITH THE SAME RESULTS. TOWER ELECTED TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY . RETURNED & LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED RT OVER VOLTAGE RELAY & LT REVERSE CURRENT RELAY DEFECTIVE. R & R BOTH RELAYS. PERFORMED ELEC SYS OPS CHECKS. ALL SYSTEMS CHECKED NORMAL.

APPROXIMATELY 20 NM NORTH OF GORMAN AT 11,000 MSL, THE PILOT REPORTED A LOUD "BANG" FROM THE RIGHT ENGINE, FOLLOWED BY "AN INTENSE SHOWER OF SPARKS" COMING FROM THE FWD AREA OF THE ENGINE, APPARENTLY THE EXHAUST. THE PILOT PULLED THE FIREWALL SHUT-OFF, AND CONTINUED THE CHECKLIST FOR SHUTTING DOWN THE ENGINE. NO FURTHER FIRE WAS REPORTED, BUT THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED SINGLE ENGINE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT IN KBUR. CAUSE OF FAILURE IS YET TO BE DETERMINED BY PRATT & WHITNEY TEARDOWN OF THE ENGINE, BUT MAINTENANCE NOTED OUT OF LIMITS DAMAGE TO THE COMPRESSOR SECTION, DEBRIS THAT FLEW OUT OF THE COMPRESSOR INLET AND THROUGH THE ENGINE COWL IN TWO PLACES. UPDATE TO FOLLOW.
