DURING A 1000 HOUR AIRFRAME INSPECTION FOUND CORROSION DAMAGE IN TWO PLACES ON THE L/H KEEL BEAM P/N L533M1009203. REPAIR PER AIRBUS HELICOPTER RDAS-EC135-53-0224-1107 REV. A
BURNING SMELL IN AFT CABIN. FOUND LOOSE TERMINAL ARCING, MELTING HEAT SHRINK.
FWD SKIN OF TAILCONE, RIGHT ENGINE BAY INBD FWD CORNER AT ATTACH ANGLE FS 4800 RBL80 FOUND 1.5" CRACK DURING 1000HR INSPECTION. CRACK RUNS FROM THE FWD EDGE OF THE TAILCONE SKIN THROUGH TWO RIVETS THAT ATTACH THE SKIN TO THE BULKHEAD ANGLE.
DURING INSPECTION, FOUND ONE CRACK IN THE FRAME 5 WEB AT THE UPPER RIGHT BULKHEAD ATTACH HOLE, AND ONE CRACK AT THE LEFT SIDE UPPER BULKHEAD ATTACH HOLES.
WHILE COMPLETING AN A 2060RT 1000 HOUR & 36 MONTH INSPECTION, THE MECHANIC IDENTIFIED A CRACK IN THE TAIL CONE SUPPORT RING FRAME AT STATION X5290. THE CRACK IS ON THE LT BOTTOM OF THE RING FRAME. THE REPAIR FOR THIS CRACK IS CURRENTLY IN WORK. THIS ACFT REMAINS OUT OF SERVICE AT THE TIME OF THIS SUBMISSION.
UPON STARTING NR2 ENGINE, THE STARTER GENERATOR SHAFT SHEARED.
