THE PILOT REPORTED ON FINAL, WHEN SELECTING THE LANDING GEAR TO THE DOWN POSITION THAT THE NOSE GEAR IN-TRANSIT LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT FOLLOWING PROCEDURES PERFORMED A MANUAL LANDING GEAR EXTENSION AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT IN SXM. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFTS LANDING GEAR AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND DISCOVERED THE LANDING GEAR SELECTOR VALVE TO BE WEAK CAUSING THE GEAR TO REMAIN IN TRANSIT FOR LONGER THAN NORMAL. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE SELECTOR VALVE WITH A SERVICEABLE UNIT. THEN PERFORMED EXTENSION AND RETRACTION TEST. THE AIRCRAFT WAS CHECK FLOWN AND OPERATION OF THE LANDING GEAR AND INDICATION WAS NORMAL. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE AND NO SUBSEQUENT ISSUES HAVE BEEN REPORTED.

UPON APPROACH, WHEN THE PILOT SELECTED THE GEAR TO THE DOWN POSITION THE NOSE GEAR DID NOT EXTEND. THE PILOT NOTIFIED ATC OF THE PROBLEM AND ABORTED THE APPROACH TO TROUBLESHOOT THE DISCREPANCY. THE PILOT CYCLED THE LANDING GEAR NORMALLY THE NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY, FOLLOWED THE EMERGENCY CHECK LIST AND PERFORMED A MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION. A 3 GREEN DOWN AND LOCKED, SAFE, INDICATION WAS OBSERVED, THE PILOT LANDED IN WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE PLACED THE ACFT ON JACKS AND PERFORMED LANDING GEAR RETRACTION AND EXTENSION SEVERAL TIMES, COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE DISCREPANCY. FOUND WEAR IN THE NLG DOOR ROD ENDS AND AS A PRECAUTIONARY ACTION R & R ROD ENDS. LANDING GEAR RETRACTION AND EXTENSION PREFORMED AND NO DISCREPANCY NOTED. ACFT WAS RELEASED FOR AN OPS CHECK FLIGHT FOR LANDING GEAR RETRACTION AND EXTENSION OPERATION. CHECK FLIGHT RESULTS WERE NORMAL, NO DISCREPANCIES REPORTED.

ENROUTE, PILOT OBSERVED LEFT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE APPROACHING THE RED LINE ON THE INDICATOR. ALL OTHER ENGINE INDICATIONS NORMAL. SHUTDOWN LEFT ENGINE AS A PRECAUTION, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED, LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED LEFT ENGINE OIL LEVEL, OIL COOLER AND OIL FILTER NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. PERFORMED A GROUND RUN FOR 20 MINUTES, OIL TEMP WAS INDICATING NORMAL RANGE. LEFT ENGINE OIL INDICATION TEMP BULB WAS REPLACED AS A PRECAUTION. OPS CHECK FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED WITH NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. OIL TEMPERATURE INDICATION WAS NORMAL ON SUBSEQUENT FLIGHTS.

PILOT REPORTED OIL PRESSURE FLUCTUATING. MOVED THE PROPS FULL FORWARD FOR LANDING. SHORTLY AFTER HAD AN OIL PRESSURE LIGHT FOLLOWED BY A DECREASE IN PROP RPM. PROCEEDED TO PERFORM AN IN-FLIGHT PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN. LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AFTER ENGINE SHUTDOWN. MAINTENANCE FOUND A PROP GOVERNOR LUBRICATION LINE LEAKING, AND REPLACED IT. ENGINE OIL SERVICED.
