FABRICATED & INSTALLED REPAIR PARTS IAW SRM 53-00-07 REPAIR 1 PAR 4 STEPS A - S. IMITATED DIP TO PERFORM DETAIL VISUAL INSPECTION 12,000 FLIGHT CYCLES FROM REPAIR INSTALLATION OR 50,000 AIRFRAME FLIGHT CYCLES WHICHEVER COMES FIRST & EVERY 12,000 FLIGHT CYCLES THEREAFTER.
FORWARD WET AREA FLOORBEAM AT STATION 365 FROM BL 0 TO BL 10R IS CORRODED. IAW ECRA 5310-05536 FABRICATED & INSTALLED ALL REPAIR PARTS & ANY ADJACENT STRUCTURE THAT WAS DISPLACED TO FACILITATE REPAIR. CORROSION INHIBITING COMPOUND TO BE APPLIED DURING WET AREA PREP SEQ 370. FLOOR PANEL TO BE INSTALLED ON SEQ 1021.

EMERGENCY LIGHTS INOPERATIVE FROM ROW 7 - 12 AT PAX SEAT LOCATION FOUND SHORTED LIGHT CONNECTION AT ROW 12ABC, R & R OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD.
TWO HOURS INTO THE FLIGHT MANY OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS CAME ON, LT FWD COACH FLOOR LIGHTS, DOOR 2L RT LIGHTS. THE LIGHTS EVENTUALLY EXTINGUISHED, FAULTY EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY CHARGER AT DOOR 2L M733. REPLACED CHARGER & BATTERY, REPLACED WEAK BATTERY AT CHARGER M737 AT DOOR 4L. ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS OPERATE NORMAL.
EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS COME ON INTERMITTENTLY AT ROWS 30-35 ABC SIDE ONLY ON OVERHEADS. ROWS 7-28 ON BOTH SIDES WHITE OVERHEADS. ROWS 7-28 BOTTOM EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS. DOORS 2L & RT WINDOW EXIT LIGHTS. SWITCH AT FLIGHT ATTENDANT PANEL STICKING. CLEANED SWITCH & OPERATIONS CHECKED OK. .
AFTER TAKE OFF, BROUGHT NR 2 ENGINE UP TO 35 PERCENT N1 AN RT ENGINE DIDN`T SPOOL UP. LOW SPEED RTO 5KTS MAX R & AMP; RT FFG IAW MM TASK 73-21-01-004-001-R-04 & TASK 73-21-01-4 04-013-R-04 ON NR 2 ENGINE.
EMERGENCY LIGHT BETWEEN SEAT ROWS 19-27 INOPERATIVE. FOUND DAMAGED WIRE AT ROW 26A IN SEAT TRACK. SPLICED IN REPAIR REF WPM 20-13-12, PAGE 69.
EMERGENCY EXIT AND AISLE PATH LIGHT SYS ILLUMINATED FIRST TO TALLY AND THEN PARTIALLY THROUGH FRONT AND MID CABINS. THIS WAS NOT COMANDED BY FLIGHT DECK OR FWD GALLEY SWITCH. UNABLE TO EXTINGUISH LIGHTS FOUND EMERGENCY LIGHT SWITCH IN CP WORN. R & R EMERGENCY LIGHTS PAX O2 CONTROL PANEL IAW AMM 33-51-08.
LEFT ENGINE FLAME OUT ON TAXI IN. AIRCRAFT BEHIND US REPORT FIRE IN LEFT ENGINE. NO COCKPIT INDICATIONS, SHUT ENGINE DOWN. T/S PER FIM TASK 71-05-00-815-806-ROO, REMOVED LP FUEL FIL BOWL NO WTR. NOTED. REMOVED HP FUEL FIL NO CONTAMINATION FOUND. RE- PLACED FUEL FIL. PERFORMED POWER ASSURANCE CHECK ALL PARAMETERS NORMAL. LEAK CHECKS GOOD. REF AMM 73-11-10/601 AND 73-11-12/401 A/C OK FOR SERVICE. ALSO PERFORMED BVCU AND TPU BITE ALL TEST PASSED.
THE 4L DOOR WILL NOT ARM. FOUND "D" RING STUCK IN ARMIN LINKG.RISTALT "D" RING STRAP. DOOR ARMS OPERATE NORMALLY. OPS CHECK GOOD. A/C OK FOR SERVICE.
FRAME AT STATION 1480 STRINGER 25RT-23RT HAS TOOLING MARKS ON TOP OF FRAME. INSTALLED REPAIR DOUBLER PER EC/RA 5310-04993, PART 1. INITIATED DIP TO REINSPECT FRAME REPAIR AT STA 1480, S-26R AT OR PRIOR TO 50000 TOTAL AIRCRAFT FLIGHT CYCLES AND INTERVALS NOT TO EXCEED 12000 FLIGHT CYCLES THEREAFTER PER EC/RA5310-04993 PART 2.
EMERGENCY LAMPS AT OVERWING THAT SHINE DOWN ON HANDLES OF OVERWING EMERGENCY DOORS, LOCATED AT FWD POST - LEFT OVERWING BOTH DOORS AND AFT RIGHT OVERWING FWD LAMP ARE OUT, REPLACED BULBS, NO HELP. FOUND LIGHT ASSY AFT LEFT OVERWING SHORTING OUT AND BLOWING FUSE AT M10568 W/D 33-51-13 PG 2. REPLACED LIGHT HOUSING ASSY P/N 11- 5832-11 IPC 33-51-51-50 ITEM 45. REPLACED FUSE AT BATTERY CHARGER, OPS CHECKS GOOD.
A STRONG ELECTRICAL SMELL WAS NOTICED IN THE CABIN AND THEN THE LCD VIDEO SCREEN AT ROW 17 ABC BLANKED OUT WHILE EN ROUTE TO LAX. THE POWER TO THE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM WAS REMOVED AND THE SMELL DISSIPATED. THE FLIGHT WAS CONTINUED TO LAX WHERE IT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER PROBLEMS. THE LCD VIDEO MONITOR WAS FOUND AT FAULT. THE MONITOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD IAW MM 23-32-08, PAGE 401. IN ADDITION, THE ASSOCIATED WIRING WAS INSPECTED IAW MM 20-60-04, PAGE 201 AND NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED.
INSPECTION FOUND FUSELAGE SKIN AT STA 1510 UNDER L/H AFT AIRPHONE ANTENNA CORRODED. INSTALLED REPAIR IAW SRM 53-00-01, FIGURE 204.
INSPECTION FOUND R-2 DOOR EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHT INOPERATIVE. THE BATTERY CHARGER WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD IAW FIM 33-51-00.
